      Slight challegening when plucking away for items which were not in a case. In my situation was limited for space, I fitted the lens vertically lens cap (logo) face up. I had to pluck out the min into the first layer and copy that to the second layer, then pluck away more from the first layer. Bit long winded but it worked for me. 🙂

    Hi Sidney, great video! Mind sharing the foam-safe glue options as they aren't mentioned in the description?

    • @sidneyreed
      @sidneyreed  Год назад

      No worries! You can use Gorilla Glue (get the thick gel stuff so it doesn’t run) or rubber cement (let both sides try them stick them together like tape). Just don’t use hot glue or latex, as it will melt the foam.

    After years i went with the trekpak system- i can rearrange it easily if needed- after replacing just 2 sets of foam its about the same cost + you gain a large amount of space the foam took up also

    • @sidneyreed
      @sidneyreed  2 года назад +1

      I just got a trekpak set for my little pelican after you mentioned this. I think I like it better already for things that don't need a lot of cushion. It's a really slick system.

      @@sidneyreed My second half of the comment was more me saying damn i've never had a professor this pretty (respectfully) ahah but yes it's very calming and digestible the way you explain things, and i feel that creates an environment where students are comfortable in asking questions, trying new things, messing up, which is moreso important in a field like film I'd argue.

      When you order the pelican, usually you can click the option to add it in. If not, you can always order it from them separately. I think it's around $100 depending on the size.
