Idk, i'm 16 and I've been that wise since I was 10. You adults just underestimate a kid's intelligence. However, he definitely has a rougher life, MUCH rougher than the average kid.
He is proud of his parents, not because of the money but because how hard they work. If you have money does not mean you get 3 hours of sleep and do an extremely laborious job.

This kid is so mature for his age. My heart breaks when he tried to hold back his tears by tilting his head upwards and his watery eyes were looking up hoping those heavy tears wont fall. You can tell he misses his parents so much and his heart aches for them Alot and i mean alot.

@@Krasses China is a developing country according to UN standards, many migrant workers/couples travel to tier 1 or 2 cities, so they can make more money there, the downside is they have to leave their children with grandparents, but with the economic growth in tier 3 or 4 cities, more people decide to stay to build and contribute to their hometowns, things will improve.

I've been there too, i was left with my grandparents when i was only an infant bcs my parents couldn't take care of me due to work. Once a year i got a chance to visit them in the city and also my mom came to see me every now and then, fortunately they make enough so we can enjoy a decent life rn. Unfortunately, that's not the case. You see I'm a parent myself and the cost of raising a kid is really high. And you don't want just to give them the bare minimum to survive but also a bit more. You want to bring them decent food on the table, to be able to clothe them like everyone else so they don't stand apart... Never mind paying rent, bills, any health related check ups which kids need a lot, their medicine, even going to school... You have to buy and spend a lot so they can have some quality . You can't do that if your job barely pays a low salary, so you always end up doing extra hours etc. Of course emotional support and physical love is important when it comes to raising a kid... but some people can't afford it. For some even a day spend not working means not having food on the table. I just hope the economical situtation of his family gets better so they can spend more time with him.

I taught in a rural part of Asia where most kids lived in foster care....it was one of the most helpless feelings a human can ever have. Everyday these poor kids wished for a home that never came. Those kids taught me more than I could ever wish to teach them. This breaks my heart

Makes you wonder why people make children if they can't afford to be with them???? My best years were my childrens childhood years, I would die to get them back. I am so glad that I spent every moment with them,never had babysitters, enjoyed every second with them.

Sometimes a child just want to cuddle with their parents, no need big toy, no need new clothes, new shoes..
Sometimes a warm cuddle from their parents is all they really want..
Unfortunately, that's not the case. You see I'm a parent myself and the cost of raising a kid is really high. And you don't want just to give them the bare minimum to survive but also a bit more. You want to bring them decent food on the table, to be able to clothe them like everyone else so they don't stand apart... Never mind paying rent, bills, any health related check ups which kids need a lot, their medicine, even going to school... You have to buy and spend a lot so they can have some quality . You can't do that if your job barely pays a low salary, so you always end up doing extra hours etc.
Of course emotional support and physical love is important when it comes to raising a kid... but some people can't afford it. For some even a day spend not working means not having food on the table. I just hope the economical situtation of his family gets better so they can spend more time with him.

I feel him, My mom doesn't come home everyday, she doesn't sleep at the house, she goes home when she has a holiday or free time.. but that's sometimes impossible, she even doesn't come home in our birthday's.. it's heartbreaking, I just wanted to be hug and be kiss and say I love you. So I understand, sometimes I think I'm being selfish because I know she's working hard for us, me and my siblings, but I couldn't help get jealous with all my friends having their family with them.. I know my mom does this so we wouldn't experience the harsh life, but it's hard growing up without a parents, so please take care of your parents, grandparents, guardians, if they're with u.. your lucky to have them by your side everyday.
