Rogol Zaar has potential as an interesting newer villain but DC won’t inspire fans for Zaar retconning him as the destroyer of Krypton. I’d reintroduce Rogol Zaar saying he lied about Krypton.
To be honest, there have been previous "scapegoats" to explain Krypton's destruction. Black Zero (as a person in the Silver Age and an organization after COIE), but also Brainiac (as suggested in Geoff Johns' story).
So Stan Lee was disgusted by the wolverine Wolverine idea, but was ok with the idea when it was used for Spider Woman (Jessica Drew) a little more than a year later? As for Franklin's mutant status, it makes sense his not being a mutant. Once Marvel established that mutants are defined by having an X-gene, he no longer qualified. Back when Sauron was first introduced, it was revealed that Prof X had worked with Karl Lykos and classified him as a "non mutant variant", a label that would fit Franklin, born with powers but no X gene.
Revealed later Franklin still is powerful, but hides it from self & others to experience "normal" life - 1 night a year his powers return & he does good.
What about the whole thing about, Dr. Manhattan creating the new 52 universe retcon and everything else about Doomsday Clock. Everyone hated that disrespectful garbage!

I hated the new Origin of Nightcrawler and Mystique it pissed me the Hell off
As far as I'm concerned, Azazel is Nightcrawler's Dad(Not Destiny) and Mystique is his mom.
I hate these Retcons.

Moira mctaggart being a mutant all along pissed me off

Actually I like all forms of Lobo of course the original is the best hands down.
Yeah, Lobo is a wolf, and should be wild and savage. I know redundant, but that's Lobo in a nut shell.
Imagine if DC did a retcon on Doomsday revealing that Rogol Zaar is his biological father. And they're both destructive villains.
I like rogol zar and they defenetly need to retcon him, keep him away from krypton and make him a cosmic villain or warlord
You forgot about the Ms. Marvel retcon that she's actually a Muntant/Inhuman hybrid
Originaly they were going to make her a mutant but due to mutant rights own by fox, they madr her a inhuman

My least favorite retcon by far has to be Why Norman killed Gwen Stacey.
Hype!
Sup!
