RE7 before bedtime? have nice dream
My balls are not massive but firm so it aint even scary for me
😂😂😂
Lmao.
don't forget Dead space 2 😂
Gotta need that acid trip and the VR headset lying in bed
"Just one more game before bedtime"
*starts skyrim
Puts ‘games you can beat before bed time’ in the title. Starts the list with Resident Evil 7 lol
Right I'm like ummm that game takes a couple of days to beat
@@advanced8998 you could beat it in a night if ur really familiar with survival horror and not trying to see everything in the game... its more so just funny to see it on the list of games to play before bed cause it's terrifying and would make u not wanna sleep
And then he proceeds to add Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dead Space 2 in there.
Tomb Raider 2013 is the best from Trilogy.
2015*
rise of the tomb raider is 100 times better
I think the same, since every other entry felt kinda same
Rise was better, in my opinion.
For sure. The other two are just like generic ubisoft games. Sad because they had great potential and good gameplay, but history 🥱😴😴
Evil Within was fantastic. They need a third. So does Titanfall.
Kena and Vampyr I hope gets a sequel as well
I really want a follow up on The Evil Within, but that wish seems to be far fetched with the studio being shut down😢
The evil within is that game that completes the Triangle!!!
That triangle being resident evil, silent Hill, and the evil within !!!
I absolutely loved the game and would absolutely buy them remastered with better graphics all over again ?!
I'm currently playing my PS4 version on my PS5, although the Xbox one X version played on series X is the best for console-
Evil west is another linear style game that was really good
Evil West was awesome
I found it a bit boring and I didn't play it for more than 20 mins but I won't blame the game.. I started it the same day, I ended RDR2 for the 4th time... I guess, it has been almost a year so I guess I'll try it again..
Great chill Action Game
@@rudrakshyadav7335if you're expecting a AAA experience then you will be disappointed, but if you just want really cool and satisfying action then it's goated
Loved evil west, not usually a fan of character action games but that one was fantastic
Dante's Inferno, Shadows of the Damned, and Splatterhouse are also good one-shot games . They're very underrated.
I wanna play Dante's inferno.. how is it??
@@rudrakshyadav7335 dont play it bro weird game
@@rudrakshyadav7335 it's page to page ripped copy of gameplay from og gow trilogy. But if you see it in a good way it's another gow game you can enjoy playing and it is fun indeed with a decent story
@@rudrakshyadav7335perfect it was perfect down to the last minute details
Could be titled "Games you could play before bedtime if you only want to see 30% of the content and care more about being able to say you finished it than any achievements or side quests".
Also, before bedtime starting when? Before breakfast?
Edith Finch and Stray are both good picks and very enjoyable, though.
bro must not have a bed time
I really enjoyed Vampyr, surprised me as I wasn’t expecting much. Nice channel btw, love how you don’t spend too much time on each game and more importantly don’t spoil the game 😁
Dude, this video is freaking fantastic! You were so concise and informative talking about these games, and now I totally have to check out A Story About My Uncle. I’d never heard of it before but I love Mirror’s Edge and it looks right up my alley. Thanks for the recommendations!
Great informative vid Mac. Thanx.
I would like to add (as must plays) to the short (10 hours) campagne list:
Max Payne 3
Plaque Tale innocent
Gears of war (basically all of them)
Alan Wake 1
Evil West
Until Dawn
Uncharted 1-3
Doom 2016
The Suffering: Ties that Bind
Binay Domain
Spec Ops the Line
Call of Juarez Bound in Blood, Gunslinger
Hitman absolution
Dishonored?
Thank you for this amazing list
Tomb Raider 2013 was amazing, I hope the next Tomb Raider game is similar in terms of story and action
Is it coming ?
Crystal Dynamics is woke af, they're going to push DEi in your face for 10-15 hours
@@rustytanks 🥱 it must be sad to see the whole world through a filter that hates anything referencing any gender, race, sexuality or whatever that's different from yours.
@@gvigary1It must be sad to need enforce cringe bizarre characters, that no one likes, into a video game just to feel "represented"
Great list! Played most of those 👏👍
Yay! Kena love! It was the first game I got on my PS5, on a whim mostly because I liked how it seemed like a Ghibli film. It sure shocked me with its challenge and depth.
Splinter Cell Conviction and Blacklist are both very good linear games that can be finished in a couple of hours.
0:58 "...a truly immersive experience." 1:03 Jack teleports to do an animation 😂 I just found it funny that that happened after you said that haha
It's called fast travel 😂 You got me there bro 😂
Amazing list
The beginners guide is my favorite game ever and it’s a wonderful linear storytelling game.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2021 and Hi-Fi Rush should be on this list too!!!!
Seeing thr combat in Devil May Cry 5, I want to play now. I love over the top combat like that
I just turn on tomb raider trilogy and beat something else before bedtime, if you know you know
I hate that I understood what you meant
Great list, I would like to add that prey or deus ex are also very good games to play at night.
I wouldn't define RE7 a "linear" game, it's more like an open-level game where you're free to explore the entire area whenever you want (except for the last part on the ship), It's one of the best horror experience ever made imo.
It is linear, you have zero choice to do. You only need to find specific item that unlock an other area that will unlock an other item that unlock a new aera etc etc
It's completely linear even if you may go back for a specific item later
Concrete Genie is good one if you want a short game to play that's creative and has a touching story.
Not on the list, but I highly recommend Bramble The Mountain King if you like Inside, Little Nightmares, etc. Kinda like a dark fairy tale. Played it start to finish in one sitting.
Wow, I never heard of a Story about my Uncle. Sold!
Stray was wonderful. Super memorable and had a great storyline.
Kena Bridge of Spirits is amazing. The Combat almost feels Soulslike, and the Story is way deeper and darker than you first imagined.
Rise Son of Rome was really nice and cool graphics for its time.Remember me was fun too.
"Remember me". That a nice game! "Beyond Good & Evil" replaying rade now. It's gorgeous!
Hell yeah started it for first time few weeks back using dolphin/gc rom and just haven't got around to finishing it but I really see the reason so many people luv it.
i loved remember me! glad people still remember it lol
Remember life is Strange ?
I purchased Remember me in 2017 and still haven't played it to this day. Idk why I keep postponing it, maybe it's finally time to play the game.
BG&E was golden!!!👍
Good list.
Thanks!
I found out that lately, to enjoy gaming again, instead of playing open world games, I must play story driven games. Mostly linear. Immersive sim like dishonored and deus ex are the sweet spot for me, if I want something a bit more open and exploring a little. Other than that, I got to the point I finally can't really stand open world games anymore
underrated channel
Strange that Uncharted 1,2,3,4 is not here!!
And re7 is 🤢
Well, there are not short games. Specially 4th
@@marcospennachini393you can beat the 4th one in a 4 to 5 hours
@@arewan1850 atte: the guy with no life
A lot of great games on this list
I may have to try Ryse. This is the first gameplay I've seen of it
My friend Pedro is so good
From the title, I was expecting games that were less than 6 or 7 hours long. Many of these are 20 hours or more.
You're right! Stray was really good.
I think the Little Nightmares Duology is a great addition to this list
I think Dead Space 2 might be the best paced game ever. It jumps from horror to action to horror again so well, making the game never boring.
Vampyr is an hidden gem, probably one of the most underrated game of all time.
Dude talks about "linear games which you can beat before bedtime"; included two resident evil titles (which are fairly long and don't fit the topic of the video at all). And then he decided that resident evil wasn't enough and included the evil within, which is a resident evil clone, into the list. Yep, definitely no resident evil bias here.
Also the "before bed time" part... I mean, how evil does one have to be in order to recommend playing Resident Evil 7 before bed time.😂
I love open world Games and other long games
I just don't have the time lately
Perfect game for preparing for sleep is Final Fantasy XIII, I can't count how many times I've fallen asleep in front of my Xbox 360 trying to get through it
Outlast 1 and 2 before bed time
I will FOREVER prefer a well made engaging linear game over every AAA bloated and tedious open world game
I've been playing Hitman BM and Absolution, I need a gaming vacation.
I loved the outro song, what’s it’s name?
Yea today’s games gets overwhelming and stale with everything being huge open worlds. Good list man
Superhot doesn't rly do it on controller for me, but in vr its insane and wildly fun
I already played all of them except Furi and Pedro. Pedro is a game I will never care and Furi turned me fury after the the second boss, so I dropped it.
Definitely add A Plague Tale.
If you want to play a Resident Evil before bedtime, play RE4 Remake, probably the best linear game I played in my life apart from U4, but RE4 is shorter so you can actually beat it in one day
i had on Vampyr 20h playtime and i played main story straight , its not that short to play before bedtime
"It's locked alright."
The evil within is a great game but it really needs a remaster. It looked and felt 10 years old when it released, super clunky capped frame rate.
Soma, made by the same people who make Amnesia.
The soundtrack of furi
Carpenter brut and toxic avenger didnt have to flex that hard.
I've played Kena on the hardest difficulty on my first and only playthrough... You can't beat that in one evening. Great game though.
A game most people dont know is: "The beast inside"
Great game😊
Kena Bridge of Spirits on Hard is Sekiro levels of controller rage dude
those are good games
IGI 2
No cap . the Survivor Trilogy of Tomb Raider is a top notch game... Neither Lara is hypersexualised nor they went overboarded with feminism though the protagonist is a female .. I actually was left with tears when Shadow of Tomb Raider was finished
outlast shouldve been there...helps in getting wonderful sleep : )
The Evil Within took me 55 hours to beat. I wouldn't necessarily put it on this list because it is a pretty long game (that seems to never end). When you combine that with all its horror elements, amount of customization, confusing plot, cutscenes, and unforgiving difficulty at times - it really isn't for everyone. Still an incredible game and experience. But not a walk in the park by any means.
55 HOURS ?!!!???!!
Despite the echo chamber, that is "resident evil 6 bad..." resident evil six was an amazingly fun and action pack adventure the whole way through and one that had multiple campaigns that each had different sides that you did not get to see until you had made it through all of them!!!
I'm all for resident evil staying "true survival horror" instead of going more so into the action oriented gameplay, however, resident evil six is a game that I purchased on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox one because of how incredibly fun that game is, and the various different friends that I had on each platform where we would enjoy playing that game..
Everybody always talks about how shitty it is, very rarely do I hear people talk about how much of an amazing roller coaster it is ?
It's an awesome game, and that deserves its place in mention also!
Hell, resident evil six should've been on this list based on what this list is centered on ? It's a mindlessly fun game that doesn't take much thinking? it is very entertaining and it has some shocking and a slight bit of scary, but it was more action yes...
All I'm saying is it was awesome game too!
Ah yes amnesia the dark descent perfect game to play before going to sleep
if people want timestamps (as do i), at least say please!
Timestamps have been added. I apologize for the delay.
@@kryptomac101 thank you! love your content, keep it up :)
I beat the wax the dolphin game before bedtime
Little nightmares was also another short game
INSIDE is a fucking masterpiece. I have very high expectations for Playdead's next game.
Changin some of those like my friend pedro who is great but doesnt came close to Katana Zero which is way better while being the same type of game.
The story about my uncle which i dont even know but i dont need to because no short platform game will ever beat either Portal or Portal 2. Otherwise good list.
I love resident evil seven Also and purchased it on Xbox one, PS4, and of course, upgraded my PS4 version to the PS5 version!
however, The best way to play it is Xbox one X unless you're on PC ?
The PS5 version suffers from major blurriness !!! Makes me not even wanna play it-
Honorable mentions: Little Nightmares 1 and 2, Alice Madness Returns, Unravel 1 and 2 and Celeste
Even Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice could be in the list, I mean it is there for me, but if not for it's difficulty then it surely is one of the best there is
Edit: just realized that you can definitely not finish it before your bedtime.
Max Payne 3 should have been here
the uncharted saga is wtp too in my opinion
It pleases me to see Vampyr here
"It's locked alright."
You can't really finish Vampyr in a single sitting unless you play it perfectly and know exactly where you're going without any detours, it takes about 20-25h, it is comparable to The Last of Us 2 in length.
Alan Wake...?
Let's Play Some Gems😁
I don't think this person knows what time is...
The order 1886
Glaringly Missing: Metro, Cyberpunk, Horizon.
Capcom is the king
Let's be honest, Ryse is a cool game but it has nothing to do with Roman warfare.
Just finished Witcher 3.
Arkham Knight, LOTR Shadows of Mordor and LOTR shadows of War were all much better
‘Tomb Raider’ is now considered a problematic title. Clown World indeed…
Ok fine.. ..
Try playing DOOM before bed
RDR2
All nice games, but only few have a brighter mood. Almost all games today have same boring, abused, excessive dark and sad mood, games take themselves too seriously, and imo this make them pathetic.
Wolfenstein: The New Order was fantastic. Too bad the sequel was a huge letdown.
Must play gems 😂ok
I hate open world games. They are just time wasters. For example Witcher 3. Spend 10 minutes going there and use your witcher senses to find evidence. Now go 20 minutes there and use to your witcher sense to find evidence. Now, for a change, travel 30 min there and use your witcher sen.... BORING BORING BORING. Great linear, pure fun, games, like Half Life 2 are almost extinct.
I loved the witcher 3 ..... but i am agree with you, nowadays there are too many open World games popping up every two days... and always repeat the same formula ,and is kinda boring i miss those times when actually there was some variety in games no pure open World games
Terrible opinion
@@Limpy2002 Yes.... but still mine
@@randizrz9170 Yeah, I am not saying that Witcher 3 is necessarily bad game, but man there is so much boring use of witcher senses and things like that. They even transformed Ghost Recon games into Open World and now in a tactical shooter, you have to drive a car for hours.
@@Limpy2002 Well, you are not the one who can decide which opinion is terrible and which is not.
not adding sifu and celeste feels like a crime
I hate super hot....
