Amazing as always my friend..never gets old seeing some of the out of the way amazing places. Appreciate you taking us along on your amazing adventure.😎🇺🇸👍😇🌞
my grandparents home is still around as well, i go by it ever once and a while, many memories there. love these videos when they get put out, keep them coming!
Bittersweet Jay. Loved the video my husband and I enjoy them all. This one though 😢 i was born & raised in "adamsville," which was about a mile or so past sage dental. I was 41 when i finally moved. When they built that massive city hall & the community/storm shelter,i knew the villages was coming. I'm a small town girl and glad i moved when i see it now 😢 the cow pastures we played football & baseball in are now houses 10ft apart ugh. I go back to visit my aunt who lives right across the road from your grandparents did. I showed her your video and she was just tickled because she knew them. Ty for making her day😊
Always love these roadside attractions & abandoned places videos. You provide viewers with the opportunity to see areas that they ordinarily would not gravitate to. Unlike the more popular tourist spots that stand out whenever one visits a particular destination.
One of these days, we're going to run into each other. We live in the Villages, where it all began in Spanish Springs, we joke that we live in the Prehistoric section of the Villages. Traveled 301 down to Dade City and Zephyrhills many a day. I love the Traditions Antique shop as well as the Wildwood Antique shop and the Russell Stover store. My grandfather retired to Florida before I was born and lived in Brooksville all the years that I knew him. I've traveled down there many times for 'ol time sake.
I would probably be fascinated, excited and terrified all at the same time and hopefully I catch it on camera! That would be super awesome. Thank you, Kimberly. I hope you’re doing well today :-)
I always love you sharing your memories. It is very nice to know a young man enjoys and respects the family memories. Family is so important. The old abandoned buildings and so good to see the ones restored. Best of both worlds. Thank you for the awesome trip...enjoyed this so much. Thank you for letting us know how to get to your special videos. Gonna try it. Stay safe. 🙏💙
It’s great you have memories of your grandparents place, and the past. I recently lost my parents and there is so many memories left I cherish today. I felt the feeling of your lost grandparents . Thanks for sharing that . I’m a Newer RUclipsr myself and I come in Leesburg time to time near Wildwood too. I may have to do a video on Wildwood when I plan to come down end of May. Great video !
Yeah, I also have fond memories of my grandparents. Come to think about it I lived with my pappy after mommom passed. Used to sit on the front porch listening to the Phillies.
The old house with hanging window was built in 1930. Enjoy your channel. As a Florida Native from Brandon and Shady Hills, it nice to see the old Florida I grew up in since 1968.
We're in Eustis, not too far. Had a friend in Coleman years ago and went to visit him. Halfway decent and modern for a prison. We've traveled to Wildwood a lot because they have a Coney Island and it's a lot closer than Brooksville. We're getting one here in Eustis next week, so less trips to Wildwood, but what is left that isn't the Villages is a really nice town.
Great video, my mom is from Wildwood, really cool to see what's going on there and how it is now, keep up the great work brother, Love you and Cris!!!!
Hardee’s has so many great memories for me as well. I loved their cinnamon raisin biscuits and then they replaced them with a stupid cinnamon roll lol 😂 I love seeing you go down memory lane. You can tell family means everything to you.
Coleman used to be The gatewaY to South Florida for the Seaboard Airline Railroad. All the need trains went thru there including "The Orange Blossom Special".
I’ve always found that your videos have the same kind of quality that Dan Bells videos have. No fancy camera work or drones but just really good first person perspective of super interesting places.
Tampa Jay, these roadside attractions and forgotten places videos are the BEST! l enjoy most of your other videos except anything Disney related....sorry, just not a fan of what it's become. I hope you start doing more of this type of video, they are ALWAYS Excellent! Love you and Chris the Girl ( and Bella!!). 😊💞💞😊
Jay, next time your around these parts for Abandoned places you should check out Ocklawaha, Florida. Plenty of places on Rte 25 for your viewing pleasure that are decaying
@@TampaJay When you do come let me know, I will take you to lunch! Can help you film something as well since I was a photographer-Videographer for years dude!
This video was so cool, my dad lives in the trailer park behind o shucks , was cool to see everything around near where my dad lives. Thank you so much for all your videos, they are great.
my grand parents lived there forever while my mom moved into Clermont that's where I grew up. I remember going almost every weekend. the house with the balcony on top use to be where the farm hand lived that came in from Mexico .
Hello Tampa Jay! Childer's Grocery if I'm not mistaken on my research James Hubert Childer's was a big part of Winn Dixie. He retired as vice president and director of merchandising for Winn Dixie and passed in 2021. He was also chairman of the National frozen foods Association. I'm wondering if that coach has ties to him and his family or just a tribute by the family living there. Really cool, love these videos man! Keep them coming! 🙌
Hello Tampa Jay. We are the owners at Coleman Crossing and I have to say you missed the best part (Our Historic Village). We have 5 buildings here from the 1800's, some cant be seen from the road. Oldest post office in FL (1876), Adamsville School house(1867), Coleman Train Depot(1895), Original Coleman Jail(1897), and of coarse the General Store(1895). Stop in sometime and take a tour.
Gotcha a smaller county. Union County 250 sq miles. Smallest county in Florida. County seat (Lake Butler. Pop. in 2020 was 1986.) But most importantly my home town. 😂😂😂. Keep up the good content. 👍👍
You mentioned being a former hoosier. Hi,from another former hoosier. I am from the little town of Bluffton,Indiana. Have you heard of it? The home to the famous Bluffton,Indiana Street Fair.
@TampaJay my mom and me are from Lake County, Florida. Would love to see what things look like after 24 yrs. You keep filming, we'll keep watching, TampaJay.
I hate the villages they never stop growing or talking poor peoples land. Thats is a safe house for woman. That house is 100 uears old. Trafic didn't use to be like that. Now it take 20 minutes to go 5 miles.

Ohh, I'd love to visit that Russell Stover Chocolates shop. I remember CristheGirl's vlog - that Bloopers Box was ginormous!!
Me too, Russell Stover is good.

That white building by the antique mall was a bar back in the day.
I thought that bar burned down? Wasn't that the old gas station ran by the Smarts?
@@floridagirl7230 it may have that was so long ago.
It's been a while since I was there. But I'm sure it's all the villages now.
Jay you are truly an awesome person

Come on 100k subscribers! I believe the old car is a 1955 Chevy.
I looked at the 1955 and 56 Chevies. I believe it's a 1956.
It definitely not a 54 or a 57.
Great video
Almost to 100k won't be long now 🎉best wishes this was great !
