I love them so much. Gracie is so beautiful. If you look at her closely, you can tell that her left eye is a lighter color than her right eye. I would have loved to see them in color. What a great team they made as entertainers.

This was filmed at what's now known as the Kaufman-Astoria Studios in New York.

This is the first old film I've seen with George Burns as a much younger man. I expected his voice to be different. I've seen and enjoyed the wise and funny elderly George Burns many times in "Oh God", "Oh God, you devil", "Just you and me, kid" (a little less familiar with this one than the "Oh God" movies), and in "18 again" (one of the better 80s body swap comedies), and I remember him guest starring on "The Muppet show", and remember his "George Burns comedy week" in the mid 1980s

50 years in show-business is really quite astounding. It's like if Lady Gaga will still sell in 2050.

They worked 1 of their vaudeville routines into this one!
Still quite funny after all these years.
A girl i knew for years, who got hooked on the TV show for a while after it became available again, had no idea they'd already been stars for about 30 years before they decided to do TV.....

Give her a break. I'm sure a lot of people nowadays don't know that. I didn't know they'd done these movie shorts in the early 1930s, so these little screen gems are a pleasant surprise for me.

    Great pattern of the time.
