One thing that no one talks about the Rams is how well they draft, despite the fact giving up all those picks. Cooper Kupp, John Johnson, Darrell Henderson, Cam Akers, Van Jefferson, Taylor Rapp, Tyler Higbee, Brian Allen, etc., were all 2nd, 3rd, or 4th rounders. I think they’ll be fine.
Ever since the rams drafted Jared Goff they haven’t had a 1st round pick. And they don’t have one until 2024

Ok so, stafford leads the league in passer rating, yards per attempt, and overall QBR (not a fan of QBR as a stat but its there) plus he's second in touchdowns, yards, top 5 in completion % and he only has 4 picks AND he has two fourth quarter comebacks already this year

What's funny is as the media keeps hyping the Rams because the NFL is desperate for them to make the Super Bowl that's in LA because the new LA stadium is losing money despite having 2 teams playing there, but not a single media hypester bothers to mention the Rams have 5 wins against 5 of the worst teams in the NFL along with a 6th win against the sub .500 Colts, those 6 teams combined record is 12-36. Six wins against teams with average record of a 2-6. Wait till Matt Stafford plays some good teams and see what happens. Those 9-7 years with Jim Caldwell they beat every team they played under .500 and lost to every team over .500.

What has Dak done when it mattered? The same as Stafford nothing. I'll take the Rams. They had the most talented team last year but had no QB. Stafford has played pretty darn good. He doesn't have to be great. He just can't turn it over like the QB did last year. If he doesn't turn it over the Rams are one tough out. Of course a injury here or there can quickly change that. Look at Seattle losing Wilson. They go from being having a chance to zero losing 1 player.

Go look at the stats of his play off games . He avg 300 yds a game and 4/3 TD INT ratio and sacked 6 times in those 3 games. He threw 4 TD in 3 playoff games and 3 INT AND SACKED 6 times. The Rams lost four players to free agency: John Johnson, Troy Hill, Samson Ebukam and Gerald Everett. Wait and Josh Reynolds. They are going to get a lot of compensatory picks. If Von goes to another team they may even get another pick. Don’t give the scouts a vacation!

Draft picks are no sure thing. It's better to trade them away for proven players that can help you win now. The Rams getting Von Miller doesn't drastically change their chances of reaching the Super Bowl, but if it helps at all, it was worth the draft picks.

They're rebuilding. They're getting extra draft picks which are much more valuable in the NFL than they are in basketball. You can get a lot of your missing pieces with extra draft picks when you're rebuilding.
