She didn't have a problem with spending his drug money tho!In her book she devoted an entire chapter to discussing her impressive art collection. She also talks about designing and decorating the Monaco building ,travelling the world and staying in the most expensive hotels etc.
What i dont understand is that by the time she had Manuela she was well aware of what Pablo was up to so why did she decide to have another child with him??

Really? She would talk to that complete liar and manipulator again and expect he’d tell the truth this time? Cold day in hell that would happen. Did he know what he was doing? Yes lady, your husband was a narcissist AND psychopath - he full well knew was he was doing when he cheated on you, when he killed people, when he threatened people - how stupid can you be to think he was innocent and had no idea the consequences of his actions. He read the newspaper every morning because he loved the attention from the chaos he caused. This woman is truly void of any brain cells.

There's a thin line between love and hate. Love the sinner, hate the sin is redundant unless the sinner repents and turns from his evil ways. He may have started out with altruistic intentions but greed, power and control became his goal. Everybody, everything was secondary to his own ambition. Why would she want to have dinner with him? She's looking for an apology she never got. Great interview, Tom. :o)

@@Rickswars Who created good and evil? G-d did. Why? Bc without it we'd have no free will. Angels are neither good or bad. They do as told. Angel rebellion comes with the NT, it doesn't exist in Torah/ Tanakh. A talking serpent is not Sa'tan. Sa'tan is the adversary put in place by G-d. He has NO power of his own. Sa'tan works for G-d. SIN is not even mentioned in the paradise narrative. Look for it, you won't find it.
It's not mentioned till Cain is angry with Abel. What did G-d say? SIN will always be at the door but YOU have POWER over it. Does that sound like tainted humans unable to resist sin? What did Adam and Eve know about SIN? Not a damn thing but they were on their way to learning the difference between good and evil. If the Almighty wanted pets we'd still be in the Garden. G-d wants a relationship with us and for us to choose GOOD. If there's one thing every human knows is you can't force anyone to love you. It has to be a choice. You can't scare them into it.

@Carmine S…., 20 something year-olds dating teenagers in high school (age 14 up) was not uncommon in the USA up until maybe the 1980s as well. I think my black grandfather was in his 20s and my grandmother in her teens when they married. But 13 strikes me as going a little to young.

@@mattpalillo7569, it's a personal opinion. I think you were reading too much into my statement and got emotionally reactionary. And of course I would not have said that to him in person, for one he was a powerful narco lord, for two even if he was not in may have been part of the socially acceptable local traditions and I don't think as a guest in Colombia it would be my place to ridicule unless the young girl was being harmed (like the child "dancing boys" of Afghanistan Muslim men in that country sodomize and become Sugar Daddies for).
For the record, I think the age of sexual consent in the USA ought be dropped down to 14 (each state sets its own minimum age requirements). I just think--AS IN MY OPINION--courting a 13 year-old is skirtting a real fine line of what is appropriate related to psychological/emotional maturity on behalf of the man courting the 13 year-old.

I don't feel sorry for her. In all the years she was with him, she lived a life of luxury and only watched out for her children and husband. Did she ever care that his cartel was using young children as spotters for the National Police and Search Bloc? That he ordered his men to kill the wives and children of his rivals? That he bombed a plane and civilian buildings and killed 400+ cops a month? She had every chance to give a tip that could have led to his early capture. And even if the tip had not succeeded, she wouldn't have blood on her hands because she'd have tried. When she and her children were being shipped off to Germany, she could have struck a deal with Gaviria and voluntarily allowed the government to use them as leverage to aid in the capture of Escobar. When you support evil for more than a decade and only give your interviews after your husband is dead and want some type of empathy from the civilians you helped destroy, you're no better than the cartel kingpins yourself. Real piece of work.
Only the two children are innocent in all of this.
