How did everyone think Kristina did? Let me know in the comments!

Kristina needs her own “The Woman Paddler” channel! I think we need more channels devoted to women paddlers and women anglers! Kristina did a great job!😊👍🏻

@@NuFishin definitely plan on using her more. She is great and is knowledgeable as well.

Kristina did great and is a nice addition to your channel and her opinion is of a normal size person . No offense intended.....😀

Thank you SO MUCH for that in depth comparison! I have a coosa hd, and an RVR119. I've been considering adding a shoalie to the "fleet", but after watching this, i don't think i need it. It was nice to see Kristina join you! She's a natural talent, and adds the "family" element of quality that most channels don't have. Well done!

I appreciate that lol. I honestly should have split it into 2 (or 3) videos to make it easy.
      Thank you for watching!

Awesome series on the comparison. I agree with everything you covered. I owned a Jackson Coosa and loved it as well. I ended up selling it to a friend. shortly afterwards, the frame cracked where the seat was just like you said in the previous video. Jackson sent him a new one cuz they are awesome. Kind of curious the longevity of the Shoalie with that as well. Well done and appreciate your expertise. Tight lines!

Thank you for your support and providing the kayak. I really enjoyed the kayak and was good to get some experience on it.

Thanks for the in depth review. I want to fish a small mountain river in TN and I want a river kayak not a lake kayak. Right now I lean toward the Shoalie because of the maneuverability. The next step will be actually laying eyes on one in a dealer show room which may be hard to do to find them in stock close to me. I would like to sit in each. I have an old Dagger Crossfire (very old whitewater kayak), a Dagger Crossover (cross between a river and whitewater kayak) and an Old Town 15.8 Discovery canoe. My preferred ride on the river is the Crossover.

I like the Shoalie but prefer the RVR119 due to the secondary stability and the drop down skeg

How does the Nucanoe Flint compare to these two as far as paddling?

Love the videos, tons of good information. I've watched a bunch of your stuff lately and you have a lot of experience on many different kayak platforms. I've been a Hobie outback owner for probably 14 years and last year sold it and got a Vibe Cubera 120 for river floats and small lake paddling. I hoped it would be more stable, close to the outback and I was way wrong. I felt safer standing on my outback than the Cubera. If I was looking for something that was easy to stand on and also add a motor to what would you recommend?

Nucanoe Unlimited and the Bonafide PWR129. Both give you lots of value and bang for your buck for motorizing.

For me the ability to stand while fishing is #1, it allows me to see structure and fish better while also making it easier to cast accurately and skip lures under limbs. The Bonafide RS117 is stable beyond belief while still being able to take 18" drops in the river but the bad thing is it paddles like a barge. I know I can't have both so I'll gladly accept the stability. I tried a Cresent Ultralight and it was way to unstable while sitting even less standing, Sholie not to far behind IMO, they both have similar hulls. I also have a Perception Pescador pilot 12(pedal yak), even though the hull looks similar to the Sholie it is much more stable, I can sit and pedal to get somewhere on the river quicker than paddling then stand and fish, even stand while going through ripples.

is the GoPro on a spring mount like the old CB whip antennas?

Lol! Glad you caught that. I tried showing that at different perspectives. The gear track on the rear flexed quite a bit. I would replace with aluminum track for the longer camera mount.

the wind does push the shoalie around a bit! I do like the high seat but thats cus it makes it easier for me to get up and down do to my back issues and I can fit more under it that way too !. ya I agree about the handles making it feel heaver then it really is! Thank you to both of you ! great input! its awesome hearing form another women , there is so few out there, giving this kind of input ! Thank you Kristina! Iv seen so many reviews on kayaks sense I started kayaking and they are all big strong tall men and say things like oh its light and you can just lift over ur head easy to load on car roof lol im 5,3 and dont have a lot of upper body strength and drive a jeep JL there is no way in hell I'm getting a 77 pound yak on the top with out help or killing my self or taking out a window or mirror lol trust me i did it with 44 pounders and struggled but dont get me wrong i love my shoalie but ya i got a trailer for her and her Lite tackle sister that weighs the same but has hard handles and both me and my sister have questioned if the shoalie was heaver then the LT and the funnier part is the LT is longer! Thank You Again
