I would just use the regular Amex blue cash instead of the preferred version. The blue cash cards only give cash back in the form of actual money its not membership rewards points, just something to keep note of. I just use my blue cash for gas that’s it. So the 4x back on the gold card with groceries will hold more true value than a 6x back on the blue cash preferred and its better to just avoid that Annual fee after the first year all together if you also hold a Amex gold card.
@@RatibTMI’m a little late to the party here but Amex points can sometimes be traded for more than a penny at a time which can increase their overall value. The categories for the gold tend to be kinda broad in comparison to the blue. Idk that any annual fee card is for everyone though.
Honestly the savor one is such a valuable card ESPECIALLY since it has no annual fee. But off course I love my Amex Platinum just a little more despite its astronomical annual fee.
Now what you should do is a comparison to no annual fee cards versus top end like the 6% back in groceries with $95 annual fee versus 3% groceries no annual fee and put that in the video. For a good while the 3% no annual fee card will be better, but where’s the break even point for the 6% card where it now overtakes the 3%? And then do that for the other categories where no annual fee cards exist (and not on a rotating quarterly schedule)
If only factoring in groceries, then it breaks even at a monthly spend of $264. Anything above that results in a higher value for the Preferred card, not even considering the other categories. Groceries is such an easy spend category, unless you mostly shop at Walmart, Costco, Winco, etc (those don’t count as grocery stores or don’t take Amex).
Funny you should say DC suburbia is “middle of nowhere.” DC Metro has one of the highest cost of living in the US and almost recession proof thanks to the Federal government and government employees.
I have most of these cards. Pretty solid choices. Remember that if you had a bankruptcy for any reason at any time in the past 10 years, that Chase will deny you, regardless of income, credit score, and history afterwards... even if they were not included in the bankruptcy.
I've never seen you mention the Citi Costco card- it's reward categories are AMAZING and comparable to most of these cards. No annual fee (outside your costco membership).
Yeah.......All of these are just.....👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Money! This is the toughest list to beat honestly and having the Savor one at the start just shows how strong you can be at the start. Awesome work and list as usual Brian.
Brian you should do the same reviewing for what is available for the Canadian Market fans. And you could even compare how they compare to each other. Your content is Great as usual 😃
Was thinking of getting both the CFF and the CSP on the same day; would possibly result in 1 hard inquiry. The CSP has a 90k in-branch offer right now! I’m 0/24 and have a 759 score
Hey Brian and video team, I would reccommend camera 1 being a bit wider and camera 2 a bit tighter. (to create more of a difference in angles). Awesome video love the first card
Regarding the savor one card, don't you need a venture card to transfer points and use the capital one portal? What are your thoughts about having that combo, even though you have the Amex gold and the chase trifecta? Thank you for all your content.
I have 4 put of 6 of these cards I don't have the bilt cc cause it doesn't cover. Mortgages hopefully it'll cover it some day and I don't have the amex gold cause that annual fee to me its not worth it Way to high for perks that don't offset more of the fee
Its crazy we live in a country that claims "free" but makes it super difficult to get a mortgage! I cant get a mortgage without making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, have a million cards for years, financed a vehicle and so much more i give up! Cya!
Such a good video. I have the cash rewards bank of America 3% online shopping including Amazon all year, blue cash preferred 6% supermarket 6% streaming and 3% gas and transportation. Bilt Master Card 1% rent and 3% dinning. I'm thinking in apply for Amex Gold ? or Venture X ? But I'm still thinking.
You mention a suggested credit score but you don't mention from what metric? I have different scores between FICO and Vantage. When you give these recommendations, which are you referring to?
Hi can you recommend any credit card that is crypto friendly? I have entered the Crypto world and its so hard to get money out of banks even when I use my debit card. Plus many of them will NOT allow this transfer! thanks Jude
Blue cash cards are all cash back and no membership points. Blue business plus is 2X membership points for all purchases and the Everyday card offers 3X/2X on grocery/ gas.
Question about the Capitol Savorone, I am trying to find the welcome bonus of about the 40% off after spending $500 on Capitolone's website. But I could not seem to find any information about it. Is the offer still running today? or is it only running for a certain time?
Hey Brian I went with chase so I can start getting my credit cards there I did everything I was supposed to and I still haven’t got my bonus yet what should I do
Check Out My Favorite Cards Here: brianjung.org/Favorites
What wallet is that ?
Can you do a navy federal review
The savor one is actually a really impressive card. That plus the Venture X makes a powerful combination!

True I just wish I could get Amex points for gas instead of cash back
@@ciegosanchez5289 Amex Bus Gold
Yeah
Why x4 is better than x6, let aside 2.5x the annual fees?

What would you say makes the Amex platinum worth despite its high annual fee?
@@pedrogriffin1934 u get $240 of it back in rewards so its worth it
I love the Amex platinum bc the annual fee literally cover by the perks that apply to my already existing spending habits
I need one for groceries. Whta should i get
@@cupidok2768 I use Citi Custom Cash Card for 5% back on groceries.

This is such a useful video man. I appreciate the effort that went into preparing this. Editing is top notch too💯
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for your content, Brian! You helped me get my credit right and start building an arsenal of capital.
Fantastic!
Funny you should say DC suburbia is “middle of nowhere.” DC Metro has one of the highest cost of living in the US and almost recession proof thanks to the Federal government and government employees.
Don't forget the federal contractors who get paid billions! The military and vets are also located in our market.
Brutally competitive though, hard for us recent grads.
Almost perfect...I'd substitute Amex Gold with the Venture X...It pairs well with the Savor and you get lounge access.
I have most of these cards. Pretty solid choices. Remember that if you had a bankruptcy for any reason at any time in the past 10 years, that Chase will deny you, regardless of income, credit score, and history afterwards... even if they were not included in the bankruptcy.
That’s because they’re smart.
Just got approved for the Savor One card man, TYSM!!!
Discover IT deserves an honorable mention.
I've never seen you mention the Citi Costco card- it's reward categories are AMAZING and comparable to most of these cards. No annual fee (outside your costco membership).
I don’t get why these reviewers don’t review this card it’s like underrated
This is a terrific presentation. Thank you for sharing this.

As somebody who has the SavorOne, OG Freedom, Amex BCP, Bilt card, and soon to get the Amex Gold...yeah this is a pretty solid list. LOL
The AMEX Gold is one of my favorite cards in my wallet! I use the credits organically so it helps out in that aspect!
The AMEX Blue Cash Preferred Card - The 'We Got Food at Home' card. 😅
You’re a stud man! I appreciate everything you do
I am enjoying your credit card videos, thanks Brian!
Glad to hear it!
Good information, thanks for sharing and you’re the best!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you!
Haven’t even watched it yet. I automatically just went ahead and liked this 🤣🐐
I own the Blue cash! Absolutely love it.
Given then 5/24 rule, how often and maybe even what order would you recommend getting these cards; assuming you have a credit score > 750
Thanks, Brian for the video...👍 Take care, Dave Powell from Chicago...🤗🙏🤗
Thanks for watching!
hi brian
Miss you Michael
For travel I would choose Amex Hilton aspire card, fee is high at 450$ but benefit is juicy
Thanks Brian, my go-to supermarket card is the Chase freedom flex. The 5% cash back beats all others!
Only the first year and one quarter of the year thereafter right?
The Citi custom card does that every month if you pick that as the top category 🥱
Bro just called the DMV “in the middle of nowhere” 😂

Chase rarely approves two cards in the same week. Most suggests waiting 2-3 months.
@@504leaux hadn’t heard that, but also haven’t looked into it much. Rip lol

Wow, this is some really helpful information! It's great to know which credit cards are worth having long-term. Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
thx Brian!
Thanks for tuning by my brother!
I love my gold card. I can't get Chase for a while due to too many credit cards... wasted 2 hard inquiries for Chase so I'm waiting a year.
Chase Sapphire reserve has an in branch offer for 80k Points!
90k actually!!

No. You can use the portal without a venture. x.
I don’t see the point of savor…
I have 4 put of 6 of these cards

I have the OG Freedom card. Would you recommend upgrading to Freedom Flex or open a Freedom Flex card for the bonus?
Man! That savor one is no joke.
no I only need two cards, a discover starter credit card, then wells fargo autograph visa card
Love the info video 😊thanks
I wish a half of these were available in the UK, even the ones that are available the rewards are nowhere near as good
Thanks, Brian!
Brian always the goat 🐐
i only have 5. CFU, CFF, CSP, Amex gold + plat. (used to have the discover it as my first one)
for online payment and for food and grosery sometimes theaters
No Discover?
might consider the gold Amex and now the savour credit cards
You do not need a 670 for the savor one my credit wasn’t great when I got mine but I love it
What’s the best overall hotel credit card if I just want free hotel rooms?

⚠️⚠️Do Canadians have to get credit cards from canada?⚠️⚠️
Im an 06 I’ll turn 18 next year so i trying to understand this stuff now
It would appear the cashback on groceries and dining barely cover the gold cards annual fee so Im confused why this is even being considered.
I have the savor one got it in the low 500 but I did use them to finance my car first
i am the absolute beginner i have never used the credit card in my entire life
Thank you!

you don't really need the Amexs anymore
Whaaaat we’re state bros?!?! Maryland 🙌🏼

Can you transfer the Amex Blue cash preferred points into Amex Platinum points?
Blue cash cards are all cash back and no membership points. Blue business plus is 2X membership points for all purchases and the Everyday card offers 3X/2X on grocery/ gas.
i wish the chase preferred gave access to airport lounges D:

Any thoughts on the Amex Platinum instead of Gold?
If you can naturally take advantage of everything I believe you come out ahead of the fee… but at almost 2.8x the annual fee of the gold card…
