I spent 3 weeks in Taromina and enjoyed my daily climb down to the Sea and back up again. Wow, lots of stairs.

Dwight Turner There’s a path, or more like a track, down to the sea past the cemetery that’s worth checking out if you go again.
Just check your spelling of Taormina; lots of visitors particularly from the US both spell and pronounce it incorrectly ie as you have spelt it. Just because it’s not as big as Noo Yark doesn’t mean you can make up your own spelling!
