  • Relating with members of the opposite sex can be frustrating and difficult, but it doesn’t have to be! Successful relationships begin in the mind - through the choices we make.
In this episode I discuss how to improve and maintain successful relationships based on my research and understanding of the mind and neuroscience, as well as 30 years of marriage experience.

In my early 50s and never married, but over the past 5 months I've desired a true lifelong relationship. Have watched many of your videos and bought one of your books bc I genuinely believe it is possible and I am worthy of what I desire, in God's will. It is nice to know I am becoming healthy physically, mentally and emotionally so I can offer the best to the one I will marry some day.
Thank you both for your work and sharing your gifts with us. Love you!

compliments, reaffirming to affirm each other, honest and openness in the relationship is critical, being quick to listening and slow to speak
    Listen Breathe Listen !
Daily awareness, pouring love into each other to walk with the help of the Holy Spirit, is a daily walk
    To Tell the other person
I love you and Thank you only wanting the best for each other
Tone of voice and body movement, Now this is where I get caught out
These are some of the things you both share and its brilliant how you have modelled yourselves in front of the children
There are so many christian teaching that share things from scripture but lacks the revelation which couples are faced with today. Its really good to hear how you both have learnt to over come the challenges . We have spent 10 years living and working together and for the sake of our marriage I have finally stepped away to allow the space and healing to take place.
I believe God brings the right people to teach us on a much deeper level and so I want to Thank you so much for your encouragement, wisdom that is so authentic.
The more we learn, the more we can experience a better healthy marriage.
Every thing is a process and with prayer and guidance of the HS I know we will find a way through this.
Like you say it takes both of us to work at this and a lot of effort.

I've been fighting PD for the last 10+ years. My husband is my main caregiver and he's getting burned out.
And he won't listen to my suggestion to get more help. What shall I do? Only pray for God to change his mind?

it is good but you dont understand how life is for a widow who loses a happy loving young husband. but I do like your program and I think you both spoke nicely.

Never go to bed angry is the worse advise ever!
Sometimes a good night’s sleep resolves anger.
Persisting in an argument when both are tired is a recipe for disaster!
