Excellent! The valley looks really greened up! Love seeing the desert transform, even if it's temporary. It amazes me because I live in a climate with year round rainfall in the Midwest. Seeing your bushes as flowering in August is so cool.
Glad you enjoyed the video Jack! Well, they do not call it "Green Valley" for nothing. Right now it is quite lush, but we do keep some amount year round. Late summer is really gorgeous in this part of the country, it is like having Spring again!!! Thanks again for watching and your comment!
Thank you for watching and your comment Juliano! I got to visit Sao Paulo for 2 weeks many years ago. It was a huge city, and my hosts treated me very well! I say Obrigado!!! I am glad you enjoyed my video! Do you have a channel? If so, let me know when you post about your monsoon season, I would like to see your videos!
Hey Nathan, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! I also like storms, so I am glad you enjoyed the video, and when there are more storms, I will take video and share here on youtube!!!
That was an awesome video Bart! Those bolts definitely got close! A couple of those instantaneous cracks and blasts of thunder definitely startled me hahaha! I personally like seeing the slo mo clips of the bolts. The raw footage is definitely enjoyable and relaxing!
Thanks for watching John! This one was a good choice to upload raw video because the lightning was really hard to see since the clouds were so bright! Yes, some of those thunder cracks were very stealthy! They would catch you by surprise and startle you!!! I have been watching your videos too, you have had a lot of action around you for sure. FYI, all we got from this storm was .17 inches. Not a lot, but it all adds up!!!
It was a slow start to monsoon season for my location, but it has gotten better in the last few weeks! Monsoon season starts officially on June 15th and runs through the end of September. However, we can get a thunderstorm any time of the year, but most frequently during the monsoon season. Love from Southern Command!

Just read the description, and I will say I enjoy the slomo and also the time lapse, like you put at the beginning of this video!
Great footage, I'm from Brazil, and I'm looking forward to our monsoon period, which arrives soon.
Thanks for sharing!!!

@@bartk85622 Very true! Every little amount adds up. For the season I currently stand at .93. Nothing for this month yet.

@@bartk85622 Fingers crossed!
It seems like you have had a very active and dramatic monsoon season. When does it normally end?

Thanks for watching and your comment Chili Dog!! I hope you enjoyed the video!
At least you are getting monsoons this year! Was it last year or the year before that you didn’t get any monsoons?
