You're spot on. I was listening to HORMONALLY YOURS the other day. There's so many great tracks on there. My favourite of the songs which weren't released is THE TROUBLE WITH ANDRE, masterful storytelling and I love how their voices blend yet contrast one another's. Sheer genius.
I'd forgotten this song existed, I was a huge fan of the sisters back in the day, in fact I met them while they were number one with Stay here in the uk and I got to interview them for the university radio station I was a part of- really nice people, shy, quiet and both shorter than you would imagine. Their new stuff is interesting and they both look fantastic, I'm glad they repaired their differences. This was a great track to be reminded of. Thank you!
Gorgeous, deliciously dark early 90s song! Their finest one in my opinion (no light praise!) I was 18 when this was being played on the radio, and had just left my home town for the 1st time - a real "growing up into the big wide lonely world" song for me! Thanks for another great reaction
I'm so glad you're reacting to more Shakespears Sister. I also saw you reacted to Break My Heart and now you reacted to my #1 Shakespears Sister song of all time: Hello (Turn Your Radio On). Thank you for your reaction and I do get your point. It was clear for me and I agree with it. I recall reading somewhere that Siobhan Fahey felt that Hello (Turn Your Radio On) was one of the moments she felt proudest of herself. I guess she meant from the perspective of being the main lyricist of the band and the lyrics are really great, poignant and I love how you can get a lot of imagery in your head when you read or hear them.
The Lady with the Guitar is none other than Marcella Detroit. She has quite a C.V. She's performed on stage with some of the biggest names in music history!
Just watched your reactions to all Shakespears Sister. You're a genius, you look deeper. And looking deeper is what makes a genius. More of you, please. So glad I've found you. Thank you for expressing music for people that hold music so dear. You're reaction to Hello should be heard/seen by everyone. Ps this is what the female energy is.
I really hope you check out Goodbye Cruel World from that album (great video too), and their recent single after they reformed, All the Queen’s Horses, where you see them sending themselves up after years of a bitter break-up and seeing how they put aside all their problems, it’s beautiful.
So glad you discovered this too. As you said it's beautiful. This song means a lot to me, it's carried me through some rough times. Deserves to be better remembered. My joint favourite song with STAY.
Shakespears Sister are a great band - Hormonally Yours really hit the zeitgeist. Try Goodbye Cruel World. Also from Sacred Heart - You're History, Run Silent, Run Deep and I can drive from #3
This was the first album I ever bought and it was on cassette. It was so amazing and created a Gothic pop vibe that spoke to a generation of misfits and oddballs. We all made our own way to our own soundtrack.
I find it so frustrating when you read the lyrics at the end of a reaction because you always misread them! Maybe you need to increase the font size on your PC? Love this song and the entire album.
this song contains one of my favorite song lyric lines ever "Life is a strange thing - just when you learnt how to use it it s gone...."
I love this yessssss! The whole album 'Hormonally Yours' is amazing
Probably my favorite album from the early 90’s.
@@sentinelmortgagecorp4291 literally all killer no filler!
@@hahatoldyouso Ha! That’s exactly what I usually say about Queen albums but yes, that’s right. This is a masterpiece.

Hello Hello
This song is a masterpiece, top notch stuff from Siobhan and Marcella.
Hormonally Yours is one the greatest albums of the 90s!

Hello is by far their best song
Incredible band.
Great song, great lyrics, great solo, great video, great duo, great reaction.
This album is amazing!!! This reaction is amazing!!!
This has still a lot of airplay on European radio stations.
I’m really happy to hear that. It wasn’t a hit here in the US but is one of my favorite songs/singles.
Felt that this song was particularly poignant during lockdown. Especially if you live alone.
It was as relevant today as it was back in the day....pure talent
Great reaction to my favorite SS song. Thanks!

So glad to see this one!

This was even more popular than "Stay" for a while. Nice to hear it again.
Big David Bowie vibes in this one.

One time heard- fan for lifetime.
This is an inspired choice. From a wonderful album too.
Hello is one of my favorite songs by them,
True today more than ever......
Hello is a masterpiece!
That song is in such a weird sweet spot between totally sincere and 90s ... goofy, bratty whatever. I guess I mean that as a compliment.
This song is genius
Nice vid. I understand what you are saying.
Great song❤ thanx🎉

History is a good one of there's too 😁👍

It's coming... It was also on my request list (I requested this one through Sincerely, K.S.O.'s page).
@@bubblingdownunder that's great, thanks for the 'heads-up'.
@@bubblingdownunder yeah - that's how she does it - people are wasting their time shouting out requests
Please- please- K.S.O Do reaction to REEF-NAKED you wont regret it.

ITALO ROMANCE
Shame those two couldn't get along.I think they could have been quite big... Ah well.
This is great ,but I'd rather here ABBA, you missed a lot of their songs I'm 76, I heard a lot of music, but they are the greatest.
Großartig ❤❤❤❤
