"Dad blast it" is the most southern dad thing that ever could've been said. Take your kids fishing, give them those same memories of "simpler times". Things may get more complicated for you but you can always pass that same memory and feeling down to them. If you can get them to eat what they catch/hunt, that's a bonus too. Life skills.

hey Andy! Would you ever consider doing a video about how you got into fishing yourself, like a little back story of who taught you and what it meant to them, how you learned, and so on? I feel like fishing is such a personal thing that so many grow up learning from family or important people in their early life, the patience and perserverence seems to really teach folks perspective and patience. I love hearing about how people get into their hobbies in the first place. Also! Would you ever consider doing a 'beginners guide to fishing' video series? Something like where to get started, how you'd advise starting off with the equipment needed at its most basic level, building up from there, different kinds of fish you tend to catch and the kind of fishing you do (I know very little about it but I know enough to know there's different rods and baits or lures used, saltwater and freshwater fishing, on a boat or at the shore and so on). Lots of love to you from Ireland! 💚🇮🇪☘️

Is there some difference? Are they fighting more, or less, or something else? I mean both ways seem interesting, so just to extinguish my curiosity.
