FINALLY Garmin is offering USB-C! I bought the power bundle, not for the mount, but just to get the version with the charge pins on the bottom. Iuse a K-Edge mount, but wanted the pins for the what if factor. What the video doesn't mention is the units are different, as the base not only doesn't come with the power mount, but also does NOT have the pins. What they also don't tellyou is the cables, including just a basic USB-A (no USB-C option at all) are freaking $50 a pop. Highway robbery. Been using Garmin almost 25 years, they are alienating customers with crap like that.
Garmin: I have an instinct 2 and an edge explore 2 on the way. Which device should I use to track my ride? I use Strava and assume I can upload courses from Strava to the explore app and upload to the edge explore 2 device? Should I then use the edge as my navigation and my instinct 2 solar to track my ride and health stats?
Does this bike computer store total distance travelled, as in like a cars speedometer, i have the explore 2 but its not exactly clear and simple, although its doind what it is spposed to with my Komoot app, that is perfect, but i want to know if it stores total ks travelled, if not does the speed sensor that can be purchased act as a speedometer and keep track of total ks travelled over the years. cheers
Servus, Danke fürs Super Video - Frage: kann es auch mit BOSCH Performers CX Line 2020 - 625Wh gekoppelt werden, oder nur mit Baujahr 2022 mit 750 Wh ???? Viele Grüße Jochen
It would be nice to get a bike computer with a bigger 3" screen, and good GPS but also with more advanced metrics, all without having to break the bank
Thank you for your question. Please reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to assist in getting the appropriate cable.
I think no cabel. The levo has Bluetooth and ant+ connection. Mit edge 830 communicate over ant+ with my specialized vado sl and i get all Information from the bike. By the Levo i think its the same
Second time using this, all the maps disappeared. 100 mile ride with very poor navigation, no turn notifications, went wrong multiple times. How can this be so poor out of the box? And Garmin Express is like a 1990's interface - need a degree in computing to figure this out, rarely connects to the gadget, servers not available, update times of hours - ridiculous. I would have binned this but the Hammerhead Karoo was out of stock. I got this as a second head unit (was using Edge 530) as the 530 kept crashing and restarting on rides, as well as being incredibly un-intuitive to use. Why make it so hard? I'm reasonably technical but this is just unbelievably unreliable and hard to use... you can tell from the other questions on this video that people need a unit to do the basics well, nd this isn't it, despite being marketed as a basic unit.
Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Edge Explore 2. Please reach out to our Product Support team at 800-800-1020 or support.garmin.com. They will be happy to troubleshoot and assist.

Is it possible to switsch the assistance level by pushing the + and - on the edge? I ride a Rose reveal plus with ANT+

I have the Edge Explore and am wondering if it's worth upgrading. Are the maps better on the 2. Is processing power faster?

Mtb profile?
Easy to Use and Accurate
Add Di2 and etap support pls..
Will it pair with a heart rate monitor?
Thank you for your question. Yes, the Edge Explore 2 will pair with the HRM-Dual, HRM-Pro, and HRM-Pro Plus.
@@GarminRetailTraining Nice, thanks for the reply.
@@GarminRetailTraining Stated more simply, it will connect with any heart rate monitor.
Battery life should be 16hr and up to 24hr in battery saver mode. Not 12 hr
Is there any way to adjust the brightness ?
Totally, its only a couple presses into the menu. Select the Menu symbol > System > Display. From there you can adjust the screen brightness.
@@GarminRetailTraining thank you for your response
12hr? I thought the 2 had a 16hr batt life.
Does it have Ant+?
Thank you for your question. Yes it does.

This video is probably great if if you want to know about the 500 features of this device; it is totally useless in helping to navigate the basics.
