I got this in a 2020, same color. 2021 7 speed transmission upgrade made a big difference in performance when I drove my buddies. Thinking of upgrading mine tbh
I have the Ford Edge ST 2022 and it does have seat coolers and warmers. It's what you put in it . And the breaks are painted red. You also have the option of getting a cargo net and trunk privacy screen.
Yeah it's the 401A package that gives you most of the extras and the upgraded brake package includes the red calipers. My 2019 Edge ST is decked out with everything except the upgraded brakes.

Bought one 2 days ago. I like it 👍 I’m still in shock that I spent almost $60,000 🇨🇦when my budget was $30,000 for a used car. 🤷♂️ mine has a cordless phone charger in that front storage section, heated steering wheel and moon roof (whole roof)
Hows it running 1 year later? Im in the market for either the Edge ST or explorer ST, within a year or 2. Used should be a bit more affordable by then
I’ve had the ford fusion sport, which came with the 2.7 ecoboost / awd. Loved the speed but had a ton of issues with the transmission dial. Really wish they would change that out , that’s why I’m going with the bronco instead

Bought a 2022 ST in June and very happy with it!
Just purchased one today. Another little info, the rear seats recline. Makes a big difference for rear seat passengers.
What kind of automatic transmission does the thing have?
You'll want the 401A to get automatic parking, which does work well, but NO 360-degree surround view. Equinoxes and Kia's have that, and the Kia also has a dynamic 360-degree view. The 2019-2020 are superior in that the climate controls are not on the Infotainment center, but those require you to plug your phone into its USB ports while the 2021 and newer are all wireless. They need to buy Chevrolet's Infotainment system and add Kia's dynamic 360-degree view. What a waste of a big screen. I agree with your comments. They are great SUVs and an incredible value.
Get the 21" wheels and 401 package. Love mine!!
At the bottom of the screen is not a storage place its a charging mat for your phone, I know because my mom has the 22 st line

What's the deal with a seven speed transmission on ST when lesser models get an eight speed?
Ford originally had the 8 speed on the Edge ST and it skipped and jumped gears too much. They ended up taking out a gear and now it’s seamless.
To much power less gears is better so it can accelerate longer in lower gears ⚙️

Purchased a 2021 edge st not even a week ago. With 8k miles on it, from a local ford dealer, certified pre owned. It’s a badass vehicle, looks great, scoots , but I’ve had nothing but trouble with it. From the exhaust rattling, to the infotainment system going black forcing the AC to stay on in this cold weather (infotainment system houses the AC controls), the hood wobbling around over bumps, one headlight brighter than the other (noticeably), and the “piece de resistance “, being this terrible popping noise coming from the drivers front. When going over bumps it makes a noise almost as if the strut is loose or bad, also when stationary and turning the wheel, a pop is audible and can be felt in the steering wheel, as well as when cornering at speed. Absolutely disappointed because I want to like this vehicle but she’s sick. Being taken back to ford tomorrow, either to be fixed or replaced.
Why would Ford not include an engine cover?
Do you put covers over roofs? So why an engine?

@@jwebste1105 Think about it. A roof blocks rain. An engine does also. The engine isn't wide open mate it's a closed system. Putting a plastic cover over an engine is no different than putting a plastic cover on a roof and claiming its helpful.
Because engine covers serve no purpose.

holy shit those manual shifts are slow, this car is absolute garbage. While the Americans have caught up a little bit in sport sedans, they have a ways to go with catching up with the Germans in terms of sporty SUVs, which is what matters nowadays.
You ain’t lyin’ all American cars are shit (compared to European) but 🤷♂️ live in N.America? There’s a lot of them=less expensive parts, easy to fix. That’s just sad.

The Macan ... most trim levels are faster, sure, but not the base (which is barely under 50k). 6.0 (base Macan) vs. 5.7 ( Edge ST) zero to 60
@@TK-xy5zm you realize I own the edge st right? It has never, ever ran a 5.7 0-60. The Macan runs it in 5 flat, and I have owned one of those too. The Kona while slightly smaller than the edge, is cheaper and faster than BOTH of the other two.
So again my point is that it should be faster for it's ridiculous price tag.
@nickvin7447 I also own the Edge ST and online videos show (with an expert driver) that it can it that. Either way, you have to go to the higher Macan trims to really make a difference.
I also liked the Jag F-pace but the 4cyl is weak and to get the 6 or 8, you're dropping like 80k or more. My Edge ST with the 401A package has every possible feature and adds a touch of bad ass vs the normal Edge. To each their own though.
