THANK YOU I was opening the scanner top first and then trying to open the scanner platform to the ink! Didn't work. Keep the scanner lid closed is the secret!
I also agree that you did a good job. Explaining the whole removing cartridges proyes better than HP did thank you. I have just one question. Is there A? Way to prevent your cartridges from drying up. And avoiding the expensive, replacing, replacing them with new ones????
You did not show the orange lever that comes with new cartridges. You mentioned something about it, but actually showing it would make a lot of difference. I suppose I'll look for another video now showing complete steps. What I'm saying is it would have been much better if you showed the installation of brand new cartridges rather than pulling out your already installed cartridges, then talking about it.
I am trying to swap the cartridges for the first time and popping off the orange new cartridge tab takes a bit more strength than I have in my fingers.
Pfft! "The printer will then check the cartridges, making sure it's perfectly happy with them" translates to "Making sure you didn't refill them and cheat HP out of its cartridge scam". I think I am done with HP. Nothing but ink problems. Not the least of which...it CONSTANTLY says I'm out of ink even after replacing with new cartriges. I also find the Magenta receiving port is constantly clogging up, causing all kinds of problems. Can anyone recomend a good printer that aren't is greedy and ugly as HP when it comes to ink?

Thank you...I couldn't get it opened with the scanner opened...Leaving it closed works perfectly...Thank you.:)
On-site at an event now and was doing the same thing. Thankful for this video because those instructions in the box were BAD loo
You did a better job explaining this then HP😂

Thanks so much! Just bought a new one and while our last one was an HP, the instructions that came with our machine were confusing.
This was very direct and easy to understand thank you
You were a great help my friend!
You're a legend! Thanks for the tutorial
I changed the cartridge, no error. But nothing getting printed, only blank.

Which one is 3rd party ink friendly?
Do have to have a cockney do this? Only Brits can understand him.
HP has wasted so much of my time over the years I will never buy from them
Thank you!
