Thank you ever so much, id spent around an hour trying to figure this out from a book. Really crisp, clean and easy to understand what is going on, thanks again
I'm considering tutoring and wanted to recap from my school maths from last century!! This video is far the best for me to understand in order to explain to a student. Thank you
Thanks! Our school uses hegarty maths, the help videos are an absolute joke! Doesn’t even explain how you do it! This is far better, even better than my maths teacher!
Thank you very much! I used to get so confused with this but now seeing the method done I realise it is actually alright. Thank you for taking time to make these videos for us :)
Thank you so much for this! We started looking at factorising today and tomorrow we’re going to be doing factorising quadratics and I had no clue what it was until now
How do you know what way to put it? I always end up doing mine the wrong order so if its (x+3) (x-6) i have a tendency to do (x-6) (x+3) and i also sometimes mix the negative and plus symbols together.
In terms of mixing the plus/minus, that is an issue 😊 Just remember that they multiply to give the number on the end and add together to give the number in front of the x. It might be useful to revise these videos: multiplying negatives corbettmaths.com/2012/08/20/multiplying-negative-numbers/ and arithmetic with negatives corbettmaths.com/2013/06/08/negatives-addition-and-subtraction-2/
I go to a private school and my maths teacher isn't even as good as you are , thank you you helped me a lot

The two brackets in above would still be correct - you can swap the two brackets around (as long as the signs in them are correct).
