What heroes being "fun" is very subjective in the end, like there will be players who enjoy certain characters more the others regardless on what on this list. For example, there's players who enjoy Reaper and Junkrat for their playstyles while others don't enjoy some of the characters higher on this list for whatever reason it may be. Just remember that this list is just for fun and just KarQ opinions, so try not to take it too seriously (like I don't enjoy playing sniper characters at all in most games so I pretty much never play Ash or Widow for example, but I do enjoy playing Junkrat from time to time even if he isn't my favorite character). I hope everyone enjoys the holidays if you do celebrate them!
I was smiling through the list... until I see where you put Lucio 😢 (/jokes) Realizing how fun it is to annoy enemies by just being a slippery boi and displacing them with boops is what got me into Overwatch again, plus the andrenaline rush when you're running away on walls or stalling for your team or 1v1-ing another Lucio. As a support main I agree with the Moira placement though, she truly is the Junkrat of the support world. They're not bad heroes, but just so... routine.

The junkrat take is an L. I get it, a lot ppl hate junk because he feels braindead. But where I find junkrat fun, is destroying the entire team and they have to pick pharah just to counter me specifically. And it's even better when they suck on pharah so they don't counter me. You get in their head. Psychological warfare is my favorite thing in pvp games.
Reinhardt in teamfights is very satisfying. Hitting that perfect pin or earthshatter? Swinging behind you to kill highly mobile heroes like Lucio or Genji? Not to mention landing firestrikes at midrange or further. He can be very satisfying. Hammer swinging and holding shield can be pretty boring though, which are unfortunately 70% of his playtime.
Sombra has two modes: gun down backline for EMP, win team fight off one ult (which is really satisfying), and a more "defensive" mode where you're hacking to counter abilities, especially due to her change from ow1 to ow2 from a 5 second lockout to a 1.5 second lockout means hack is a lot more reactive ive found. idk im a sombra main so im biased
i think it's because you generally stand there and shoot into chokes. His aiming isn't cracked and it's kinda the same thing over and over. I like to play him, but I play him for the win over the fun.

Idk how is being able to eat more than half the ultimates in the game on a one second cooldown not fun? Plus now that it's 5v5 her ultimate has a lot more value if you know where to properly launch your mech since you don't have to worry about shields on top of shields on top of shields.
I love heroes with a ton of damn mobility, like wrecking ball and pharah. We also got heroes like doomfist where its really fun to combo his abilities.
Symm is fun. I love soloing tanks. I love backing up my team's tanks. And I can tp my team directly to point on ilois. And getting level 3 beam is satisfying. Don't care if it's a L opinion.
I don't think I enjoy a single "SUPER FUN" hero except Ana. In fact, Baptiste was always the definition of a "boring hero" to me xD Mercy too, because she feels so unrewarding (although she is super relaxing to play if I have a "bad aim day")

My list that no one asked for of ever category 1. Kiriko and Ana for support 2. Echo and Ashe for dps 3. Sigma and JQ for tank I play others but those are my most played.
Moira's healing is NOT more forgiving than Kiriko's ffs. Why do people keep saying that? Kiriko's is literally a lock on with a massive hitbox. Moira's doesn't lock on and has very slow travel time. Have you tried to heal a double jumping genji as Moira?

He's absolutely fun but I do so well with him that it becomes boring. There's almost no risk to playing him. I want self damage to return and for concussive mines to only be able to detonate after attatching to a surface. He needs more risk.

There have been times where I though those two characters are terribly boring. Hanzo I used to like to play and is my top 5 played. I hate him in OW2 now and find him so stale, I never play him.
Lucio is the main reason I keep playing this game. The freedom of movement the character gives is incredibly fun, wallhopping over tons of walls to skip a runback. Any character with thoughtful movement is one I like, and one of the reasons I think Pharah is the most boring.

@@-SFK. With Junkrat you can use his mines to easily jump in to people and jump back out just as an example. It's compliments his gameplay which always feels good. Genji's double jump, dash and climb make him very fun also since you can zip about a bunch of different places and feels good. Hanzo and Kiriko's climb is useful sure but doesn't feel as good to pull off in succession with other abilities like Genji imo. The teleport is a very useful movement ability but isn't the most fun thing to use if that makes sense.
Just a comment about the editor’s comments, and it might just be a personal pet peeve I’m here for KarQ’s thoughts, so every time the anonymous editor rejects what he says (to which KarQ has no chance to respond to) gives off a weird feeling of watching a specific unknown viewer doing live commentary over KarQ. Chat is better since KarQ does respond to them and it is a fun back and forth sometimes. Overall, I would personally prefer less of that. I hope this was constructive with reasons to support :)

Making him immune to his own explosions might make him balanced in the OW setting, but it will always make him lame and cheesy.

Hanzo and Kiriko's climb is useful sure but doesn't feel as good to pull off in succession with other abilities like Genji imo. The teleport is a very useful movement ability but isn't the most fun thing to use if that makes sense.
Why is Sigma fun to play? Because whenever you kill someone with a bank shot you get to wheeze into the mic "geometry, bitch."

Just a comment about the editor’s comments, and it might just be a personal pet peeve I’m here for KarQ’s thoughts, so every time the anonymous editor rejects what he says (to which KarQ has no chance to respond to) gives off a weird feeling of watching a specific unknown viewer doing live commentary over KarQ. Chat is better since KarQ does respond to them and it is a fun back and forth sometimes. Overall, I would personally prefer less of that. I hope this was constructive with reasons to support :)
