I just bought a mountain cabin on six acres with a fantastic view of Mt Rainer. The day before we closed during the walk through the RE agent told me that Mt RaIner is considered the most dangerous volcano in America.
It is, mainly because all of the natural flows (pyroclastic) will follow the river to the west and the highly developed settlements around lower Puget Sound (high populations) no room to escape unless you have a boat sitting there waiting for you ... but because so many do there will be maritime traffic jams there also ... :-(
Well, Mt Rainier is a pretty old vokcano and not likely to erupt. However, the big concern is that the north west side will slough off and create a gigantic lahar that will travel down the White River into Lake Tapps, Sumner, Bonney Lake and Puyallup, heavily populated areas.

I wrote on a previous video that Owen Benjamin sent me... since watching that first video, I have continued watching several others, and I just want to say that I am so happy to have found your channel! The homesteading life has always appealed to me, in a massive way, as I feel it does to all men who haven’t found themselves distracted by the bells and whistles of the city life and the current lifestyle. My heart yearns for a homestead with my wife and children, living with nature, like some sort of suppressed ancestral instinct. And I will have that life, God willing. Keep on creating, building and sharing your stories and thoughts with us! I will be watching!

“Mt Fuji” erupted in 1980. I was living in Corvallis (80 miles south of Portland) at the time and ash was a thin layer in the city. Relatives in Spokane were covered thick in ash.
Is that really "Mt St Fuji" in the video? I suppose I could see it with that notch. Definitely smaller than I had imagined. I wasn't even thought of when it erupted, but I heard stories of it growing up.
I like this channel. Hes not scared to show his real opinions and he talks about real issues as well as. Stays with the roots of the channel of being s homestead.
Wow, your new homestead is next to an active volcano (Mount St Helens) that last erupted in 1980. I can’t wait to see the volcanic eruption preparation kit you put together. Beautiful area!
It would be a bittersweet thing to move from such a beautiful property, but to move to one with a river running through it, makes it less bitter for sure.
Not meant to harass or other wise, but with that quantity / amount of land, your talking "field's." Yards are for city folk. Any land above 2.5 acres, in my opinion is when you go from yards to fields. I live on 5 acres, use maybe only 2 acres of it at most.
New subscriber here: I wonder why the North Fork River up in Kalispell, MT, doesn't run dirty unless it's spring run of, otherwise it's crystal clear - fed by Glacier Nat'l. McDonald River in Glacier Nat'l is clear all year seems. I think that info must be for certain areas maybe? Colorado River always ran dirty...i grew up in Colorado. Moved to MT. and didn't know rivers could run clear!! I was ecstatic! So many homesteaders I followed a few years back claimed to be believers...i wonder now... few of them will talk about their faith. Especially in times like these, I think it's so important! Thank you and God be with you as it was your efforts to help in Oregon vlogs that helped me find you! Smiles and blessings...
One thing for sure is that Our Father takes care of His children. I was in an accident about 4 months ago that could have killed me or at least left me paralyzed. It was so severe that I was transferred to another hospital that could deal with the severity of the injury. The docs said when I went to have the emergency surgery I was paralyzed and they had to do a tracheotomy to keep me breathing. After a unconscious week in ICU I was transferred to the Trauma Unit of the hospital. I still couldn't move my legs and remained on the trach until I went to Rehab. It is by God's Grace that I am now home and walking, though with little endurance. And I will have the endurance back, better than before, because Father is rebuilding me the way He wants. He not only takes care of us as individuals, but as a family too. What I'm going through and you, among others, are going through is part of His plan...if we simply let Him act on our lives by staying out of His way. Peace be with you and your families.
If its still your shoulder thats bothering you I cannot recommend something like a theragun enough. Dont waste hundreds on the real ones to start, just get the adapter for a battery jigsaw I'm sure you already have around, show your wife how to operate it and start gently doing 5 minutes in the mornings, itll be the best 15 bucks you ever spent. If you find you like it then maybe invest in a real one as they're lighter and easier to do yourself, but honestly I prefer the jigsaw one, its got more kick.

Looking forward to the fishing videos, what a beautiful new homestead!
Sorry to hear bout injury. Will keep you in my prayers.
Cody, blessings to you and your family. Thank you for letting us see the river on the North side of your property. It’s quite lovely for your family .👍 Your children will certainly benefit from your choice to move 👍
God bless your family and may God bless America 💕🇺🇸🙏
that was my grandmas house! sad that she moved, but i’m glad someone else gets to enjoy it!
so i assume the grandfather was the man that passed?..
Seriously do you know how many acres it is ?
BigCtv yes, but he passed 6 or 7 years ago. my grandma needed to move to a smaller home, but it took a long time to find a buyer
Seth’s bike hacks nahhhh
Seth’s bike hacks i mean you just asked for the address, idk if i wanna tell you anything that could help you figure out where he moved to😂
Very nice 👌
Maybe the next project should be a nice hand built sleuth box so you could start prospecting that nice river👍 perhaps it'll help pay for beautiful parcel a little..
Why would anyone give a thumbs down to this video? If you fill your life with hate....you let others control you. Stop being hateful.
Beautiful View My Thoughts And Prayers To You And Your Family Feel Better 🙏🏼 And Congratulations In Your New Location. Loved To See The New Work Shop 👍
Near my neck of the woods. One of the best spots on earth. Beauty beyond imagine. The true soul of an Oregonian.
Glacier rivers are usually crystal clear, what usually makes them muddy is spring time floods or blowout from rapid melt or rain washing sediment down stream it usually only last for a short period of time
Hope all is going smoothly for you and yours. God bless, you're in my prayers!
I'm gratified that your mountain view didn't disappear! Good luck and thanks for sharing. 🤠
It’s gorgeous! Stunning actually. God bless y’all even more Cody.
Great river, great view of the peak. So, God willing you can get started cultivating this land, plant some fruit trees etc. Have fun.
@@DesertJacks Owen Benjamin is a comedian that was shunned and banned from Hollywood, and now lives and Livestreams about his new life, homesteading and family values. Really great stuff, though you'll notice that most of this videos are banned from RUclips. The best way to find them are to search for them by upload date, since they are most recently posted and haven't been flagged yet. While I don't agree with EVERYTHING the guy says, he has a TON of stuff that I love. Brought me closer to God, made me a better father and husband. He may not be for everyone, but I was glad I found him when I did. :)
All the very best to YOU, Wranglerstar. Hope you get on top of you INJURY, And get back to what YOU LOVE, MOST. SUB from Melbourne Australia..;-)
nothing like a bath in a glacier fed river after a long summer day of work!
U just loved the land there I understand that 100% I live in Maine and can see it on your face God bless you and your family I really love your content I've been watching for years and years and I appreciate you thank you
“Mt Fuji” erupted in 1980.
You mean mt saint Helens in may 18 1980.
I lived in Eugene 100 miles south and heard the explosion.
Vancouver Island BC, we woke to about 1/4 inch of fines everywhere the next morning...
TheCanadianBubba Huh. I lived in Seattle, and got nothing at all, it all went East.
@@rickmanley767- don't know what to tell ya... it was a real mess, like talc powder.

I like this channel. Hes not scared to show his real opinions and he talks about real issues as well as. Stays with the roots of the channel of being s homestead.
Sending love and light to you and family. I know this video predates the fire and more recent videos, all the same you are a true American. God speed
We went from "We are losing our ranch!" to "We moved closer and it is actually twice the size!"
Keep the views coming...
Wow, your new homestead is next to an active volcano (Mount St Helens) that last erupted in 1980. I can’t wait to see the volcanic eruption preparation kit you put together. Beautiful area!
Berkeley Boy wrong mountain buddy😂
Yes not Mt Fuji lol
Me: Why is the river so muddy?
Wranglerstar: "People as why the river is so muddy..."
God bless you brother. I will pray for you and your family
When I was a kid, we moved every couple of years. I found out later that it was because of my mom. She would rather move then clean the house.
She should of made you clean the house..
It would be a bittersweet thing to move from such a beautiful property, but to move to one with a river running through it, makes it less bitter for sure.
Muddy..?
WHO CARES...! THERE'S WATER..! A RIVER RUNNING THROUGH THE YARD..!!!!

Smiles and blessings...
it's nice to see a big RUclips creator who is a follower of Christ
Amen!
Beautiful site and awesome view of FUGI!
Blessing for your new home!
Hope u will be healed by God completely.Peace and love !
@@JY-um4su Thank you.
That view is just gorgeous. Not that views are top on the list, but it is always nice to have something gorgeous to see as you work!
Ice the shoulder in the glacial river. God bless from England
yes combine with some WHM breathing excercises.
Great view! I look forward to seeing how you address the issues of living out and away.
I am so glad to hear that, it makes sense now! I would not have been able to leave the beautiful view that you had. You guys have been twice blessed.
