Sad I missed this (was 6am for me). Used to be in game development industry but couldn't deal with the industry instability and digital art as a whole, but I have so much respect for those who still pursue it, especially the 'old guard' who've adapted their whole process to digital. Now an archaeologist and your own story resonates with me deeply.
Sorry I wasn’t able to be there to support your live stream, but I hope you do more because I’m enjoying the VOD! I just wanted to say that you are the GOAT for taking the risk and putting yourself out there on a global livestream! That’s crazy, dude! You’re right that normal people don’t do that stuff. Only exceptional people do. And by the way, it’s totally fine if you feel nervous or your hand shakes. It just means that you’re a person. I’m pretty sure that the main element that has captured all of our attention (aside from the quality of your art) is your willingness to be your authentic self and a relatable person, something I think many of us wish we had the courage to do more of ourselves.
Thanks! This channel is letting me get out of my comfort zone with stuff like this. The stream felt like my first time in the deep end of the pool. I was nervous at first and I feel like I said "LIKE" way too much. Hopefully next stream I do is better. I'm glad I took the plunge.
Thank you for doing this dude. I myself am suffering mentally. I've drawn all my life. I tried art college and failed. I'm in a constant battle with my art. I hate it, but I can't live without it. Your bravery to put yourself and your art on YT is inspiring. I don't think I can be as brave as you bro. This is extra dope, thank you for your channel.
I only caught the very tail end of this stream, so I watched through the vid and I loved it so much! I had been considering trying watercolours for years, and your Elden Ring journals got me to actually pick them up. I did a doodle of Alexander and I had a lot of fun. I just got one of those water pen/brushes and haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'm looking forward to it! I'm an artist with similar feelings to you on not wanting to be a public figure/social overwhelm/etc, and it's nice to hear another artist say what I'm thinking haha. Thanks a lot for streaming.
That was a lot fun to listen to! Thanks for having the courage to reach out and share it with us. Theres always something about how you wield your storytelling and approach lore in your books that I find very capturing!
Thanks! I really had to talk myself into it, but everyone in chat was very supportive and helped me chill out. I'm looking forward to another live stream soon.
It's been a long time since, I 've found a nook on the internet. This feels special, I hope you keep this up, also get friend to call you on discord, so they can moderate the chat with you.
I checked it out and felt like an idiot for not realizing that was the song you were talking about, I never memorized the names of the songs for skyrim except for the streets of white run and kynes peace, also I mentioned peace of akatosh in the stream and that song is from Oblivion not skyrim, so ya I need to go back and relearn the names better. Thnaks for contributing to the stream It was a good time.
@@artyzartifacts9799 No worries and I get you, I will listen to a song for ages until I actually learn the song. I only know majority of song titles from The Cure or the Pixies stuff like that lol. But I absolutely love your work and for a first stream it was really good. If I am being honest I only recently discovered your channel from the Elden Ring vids but I looked back at your previous videos and they’re all amazing as well! Can’t wait to see what you make in the future because you can create some extraordinary things!!!
Well, this turned out to be a very successful stream. More popular than most. Looks like it could be a great idea to make this a once a week or once every two weeks at least, thing. Or more the merrier. lol.

It has always been a tough industry, I hope things improve eventually for the next gen of artists

Your composition skill is professional. You also talk like a natural born artist. Keep at it. Love it
Thanks, appreciate it.

Sorry I missed it, but watched it all after. Hope you do more. Love seeing you paint.
it was just a test stream, hopefully I can improve on some things for the next one.
Very cool to see your work come to life, and what is cooler is the response and appreciation for it all.
The feedback has been great and being able to reply to people live is intense but really cool.

Alexander looks best in watercolor IMO, glad to hear I'm not the only artist who likes lurking in the shadows. Thanks for checking out the stream!

No way I missed it D:
I plan to do more in the future, hope more people can stumble upon one live.
Do you dry your drawings after completing them ?
Ya I mean watercolor just dries naturally on it's own over a certain amount of time. I leave the page open overnight. .
@@artyzartifacts9799okay
I missed it 😢
just the first of many, hopefully.
