The third day of the NYMR Steam Gala 2023. Again this was a shorter day for myself visiting the gala so only stayed at Grosmont Station.

Wow was like a scene from Stars In Theirs Eyes at the beginning :). I'm glad @5:37 I wasn't on the platform looked like you couldn't swing a cat. God you did get the rain, we only had a few light drops at this time up on Darnholme. You still managed to capture some good footage :).

Cheers 👍👍 I know at first I didn't think I was going to get anything of Gresley and then poof he emerged haha almost captured him wheel slipping in the tunnel .
Ye the platform was just mental I was stood up on the picnic benches to get above everybody's heads (like an antisocial youth)
You were lucky then with the rain we got drenched haha

When the Gresley made some black smoke, a girl near me kept saying “dad, that caused global warming”.
Then the Gresley did that super hissy fit, and she said “how is that legal?” 🥱
