There have been better punchers, boxers with better records or more victories - but nobody had what Ali brought to the table. He was a phenomenal champion, the greatest entertainer, and the leading activist for human rights amongst all athletes.
Here is the life story of one Muhammad Ali and our take on his greatness - his boxing, his great service to humanity, his famous trash talk, but also his stepping out of line, and stubbornness that kept him in the ring for too long.
Muhammad Ali - The Greatest of All Time - Спорт
“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'”-Muhammad Ali
Brilliant....
Such a beautiful quote
he lived most of his life as a cripple though, tyson still has everything. power, mind, and ability. ali lost all of that stuff for the pursuit of lost glory. that's not how to go out like a champ, that's how to go out like a chump.
@@BobbyxZx stop talking bro ali is a god and definitely didnt go out like a chump be went out the best of all time

I bumped into Mr. Ali in the lobby of a hotel in San Diego many years ago. I was shocked and a bit star-struck...but I asked him if I could have my picture taken with him. He took a swing at me with his big fist, but stopped just short of my jaw... He broke out into a big smile and put his arm around me. He was a real gentleman, and seemed generous and kind. That was a once-in-a-lifetime experience... How many people can say Muhammad Ali took a swing at them and they stayed standing!

The tremendous respect that these champions had for each other is so impactful. Ali may have talked trash, but he showed respect by giving everything he had to give his opponents the fight of their lives. The only people he really ever truly disrespected was himself and his opponents that he lost to from lack of preparation. His opponents respected him in words. He respected them with his actions.

Forman was very smart when acknowledge Ali and as the result he is widely respected
The punch @5:51 was from the rematch. It was Ali’s third punch and he rocked Liston, whose legs were turned to rubber. It was his hardest punch and contributed to the knockout with punch #4, just 38 seconds later. For the K.O. he hit him with a punch to the right temple that knocked Liston off his feet, the so-called “phantom punch”. In slow-mo you can see Liston has 2/3 of his weight on his left foot and the punch lifted it off the canvas. A shock wave rippled through Liston’s back muscles. No phantom punch, just a perfect punch on top of a hard right.
I was born in the late 80s, but Muhammad Ali is still one of my favorite sports figures to have ever lived. What he did for the sport of boxing was astronomical. I'm amazed how I still watch his promos and fights today & I'm blown away by his fluidity & IQ in the ring.
Ali still move better than almost all boxers today even in the lighter weight classes! And for a guy that didn't have an over imposing physique, he was obviously strong! Look at how he moved bigger guys like Sonny Liston & George Foreman off him when needed with ease!
Thanks for shining the world with just a little of your light sir. I'm forever grateful to have your picture and your quote about training hanging in my wall!!
Even though he was the greatest of all time for boxing, he was still humble enough to speak on his arrogance when losing because he thought he could just win easily without much effort. He needed dudes that could really put him to the test when he needed to remember himself and it really worked.

No Matt what records say…Ali will be the greatest because he was not only a boxer. He was people’s champ. Greatness doesn’t come from records,or highlights.. it comes from getting accepted and loved by people ❤😢
Growing up, there was no better role model for children. He was the greatest in and out of the ring.

I think he was more than people will ever know or understand. Great man.
Correction! Correction! After the fight in Zaire, Foreman thought that he had been unfairly treated, he had nothing good to say about Ali ( go back and revisit the tapes!) He disagreed with everyone and everything and he was VERY bitter, he didn't admit being honored to fight Ali until "after" he had disappeared from boxing, reinventing himself and returned!
Its not only what he did in the ring that Made him a goat it’s also what he did outside the ring.
What a fantastic biography of Ali. After I was done watching it , I wanted more, so good.

George Foreman was also really good. Ali pulled a Rocky 3 on him and that’s how he won
Totally agree!!!
His peak as a heavyweight was really and truly unmatched. Look how many tough fights he took over the years. 56-3 until his last two fights, which he should've never been clearly for but here's some of the notches on his belt. Liston, Shavers, Foreman, Joe Frazier THREE TIMES, Ken Norton, Patterson & many others. It would be a far longer list if he hadn't lost 3.5 of his 8 to 10 prime years.
And that jackass floyd said he's better than Ali, Imagine him getting into the ring with monsters like foreman frazier liston tyson and even holyfield, If he faced the guys half of their calibre then i would see how he becomes 49-0
He lost the later fights due to Parkinson's not age, today the fight with Holmes in 1980 would've never took place!
The Greatest!!!
Happy birthday to the greatest man boxing ever seen
The goat of everything 🙌
