Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Disciples | The Ministry of Jesus | Week 34 | Tony Fernandez

Have you ever wondered if you have been called to something greater? Have you ever doubted that God could use you for His glory?
The good news is that your past does not dictate your purpose.
God intentionally chooses men and women with complicated histories for His glorious plans.
He illustrates this with the selection of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus’ ministry. These were ordinary, sinful men-tax collectors, faithless fishermen, deceivers, zealots-who were called to be the greatest gospel preachers of all time.
And though they did not know it then, those twelve men would go on to change the world.
God selects people in spite of their past, not because of it, and as the Apostles were transformed into something better by God’s power, the same can be said for us today.
Our brokenness does not deter God.
Our past does not disqualify us from being used by Him.
With the Lord’s healing and refinement, even the worst of sinners can find purpose in His kingdom.
