Coolest looking weapon so far in the dlc. Though its an INT weapon. I used my talismans to use it and showcase. I'll do another build later to try it out properly. If you guys want to see any other weapons lmk. Enjoy!
Are you able to dual wield it with the magic and flame on? Like the boss does?
nah. you can't permanently have fire and magic on at all times. Just a special attack and thats it sadly.
Quick question bro for the moon part of the ash do you have to continuously press for more beams or is it one combo after a button press

Renalla and Rellana are sisters, Rellana was the elder one but rejected becoming the Carian Queen

Idk why but last night I had to urge to respec back to my int/faith build and after seeing these I’m excited
Bit of a shame that the swords dont stay on fire/glowing for even a little after the weapon skill but cool none the less

Ima be rocking these for the rest of my playthrough. You got any tips on rellana? The boss seems extremely spongy and she doesn’t seem to stop attacking
so i went back on another save and you can jump over her twin moon magic. boss doesn't get stunned easily either. does bleed well. so bleed weapons can be good. Other than dodging, you can try parrying again boss is so fast.

dodge into, and to the side. she loves circling around you.

She's only spongy for her first phase she gets squishy in her second phase but also does significantly more damage
The boss was a damn slog to get through, wound up just running and throwing lightning spears at her until she dropped.
Anyway the sword is really cool and quite effective if you have the hybrid build it seems to demand.
One small thing they did with it that I appreciate is that.
While "2 handing" it if you press L1, unlike other paired-by-default weapons where L1 blocks, this weapon instead will swing the left fire straight sword by itself when you press L1.
I wonder how many other people have noticed it yet? I personally like this change because it makes the weapon more versatile, always hated the block that other paired weapons have.
Does anyone find that block useful honestly?
With the sekiro parry they added that block is really good

If you use the light attack right after the first heavy attack, it chains into the last part of the light attack combo.

If you take away Waterfowl dance, Rellana's was WAY MORE DIFFICULT for me to beat. That twin moon BS is ANNOYING. It took about 9 tries to figure it out. LOL

Like 2 handing a weapon. Hold triangle and then press l1 (playstation)

i have 75 int and 60 faith but only 15 on dex, i can get one more dex but i really like my blasephmous blade is it worth it and i don't like that this is a twin blade i can't run my staff/seal on the off hand

would you recommend scaling every stat the weapon scales with or for example only faith and dex? i scaled everything until 40 and the damage is kinda bad but i dont want to miss out on the two ash of wars by only scaling one thing ;/
This depends. Are you gonna use just the ash of war or both the weapons moveset and ash of war. I think the weapon base attack is meh. Only its ash of war is good. So in this case I would get base stats in strength and dex to weild it and pump my points into int and faith evenly. For example maybe 50 50 in both faith and int to get max usage out of the ash of war

You need the faith requirement probably (if it had any, otherwise you need all requirements)
If anyone sees this, I can’t use the moon attack, how do you use it? On PC, I can only use the fire attack

It's a bit cloncky to not say complete dogshit. To do on keyboard u have to do the ash and then light attack for the magic and heavy attack for the fire. However on pc for me it's shift right click to enter the ash and then u have to hold shift right to stay in the ash skill bc u have to keep pressing shift the if u left click u allways do a heavy (shift left click) and there for the fire thing on controler u have to press L2 and then r1 (light attack) for the magic and r2 (heavy attack) for the fire
So what u have to do is u tap shift right click bc than u are trapped in the animation to enter the stance and then u can let go of shift right click and than u have like a second to press left click (light attack) if u press shift right to long u can only use the fire or cancel and stard over
i hope it helped and pls don't mind some misspellings and stuff I'm not a nativ speaker

Don't know if you got an answer, it works just like the sword of night and flame. Light attack preforms the moonveil combo, while the heavy input preforms the fire tornado

How would you setup stats for this?
You need strength dex int and faith. They all scale pretty similarly but I think the special skills scale of int and faith
I currently just took it to max level and all stats become C scaling. I got strength and dex to 25 so I can keep other weapons open as well but Im mostly trying to pump int and faith to 40 first because the fire ash of war is really helpful to me and it does pretty alright damage and good stagger. I would recommend using the millicent prosthesis and winged insignia talismans if you can because it hits a LOT of times, even the heavy hits twice

It's an automatic paired set. When you go to do a two hand grip it will bring out the 2nd sword.

At +10 has a C scaling in both faith and intelligence, you're not going to benefit much by raising a stat for a weapon with a C scaling

Hmm you can't do the jump l1 attack here. So it loses a lot of Attack potential this way. I still think sword of night and flame is better due to the magic beam. The fire also goes further than this weapon. Only difference is moveset.
