I went to pick up a Cockapoo from the breeder. We were going to decide between two puppies… We picked a cream female, even though the male was also adorable, he looks like a mini St. Bernard. As I got into the car to drive home, the breeder told me to take him, too, if we want him. It was a gift for my daughter that adored him, he said money’s not important so long as he gets a good home. I was really taken aback, but I accepted him. So now we’ve got two.
My uncle bought molly before he passed away and it was a few years ago. We took her in and she’s a Cockapoo. She is 3years old and is the sweetest girl you’d ever meet. She’s very smart and is completely spoiled. She is protective of all of us. She loves rides in the truck. It’s hard to describe how she is or what she does. But she is all about us. In the morning she needs to go in each room to make sure we are all there. She loves playing with her toys and playing with her treats. She is definitely a blessing and she definitely knows how much she is loved!!❤️
I’ve had my cockapoo for 3 months now and he’s so amazing. He loves cuddles and is very VERY energetic and full of energy all the time. Getting him was the best decision I’ve ever made. 😊
Been owning my cockapoo for over 2 years, man shes so smart! So energetic and loving! I walk her twice a day 6 days a week it's funny because when she knows that I'm going to take her outside she gets super excited but if I take too long to take her outside she literally lays down in front of me looking all sad lol and if she wants to go outside she runs to where I'm at sits down and just stares at me for a very long time! It's so funny!
Me and my family purchased our cockapoo back in May, but we didn’t bring him home until the first week of June. Getting a puppy for the family was the best decision ever made.
I had to say goodbye to my Cockapoo on 4/22/21. She was the greatest dog, best companion I ever had. Ginger was 18 years 3 1/2 mo. old. At 16 she went deaf and at 17 blind. When she turned 18 this past January, she was diagnosed with the beginning stages of dementia. She was walking in circles, on occasion. Two days before I said goodbye, Ginger totally lost her bearings. She walked in circles, almost non stop. She was then walking into everything, for the first time. I miss my beautiful little girl. 😭
I LOVE this! My mom and I just got a cockapoo and we’ve had a schnoodle (schnauzer poodle mix) for 16 years and still going strong! Now I can call them my schnoodle and my spoodle! Rolls off the tongue much better!
I had a Cockapoo and she past away in 2012. Her name was pixie anne Marie. I even gave her my maiden name for her last name. I miss her so much. She was exactly as the narrator described her breed in this post. I want to get another one but I miss Pixie Anne so much that it still hurts to talk about her. She was my best friend, babysitter and saved me from my bouts of depression. Maybe one day I'll get another Cockapoo but until I'm ready pixie anne will always be for ever in my heart. ❤ R.I.P my Pixie Anne Marie Jackson.😥❤🙏
My 3 older bothers and I had a cockapoo growing up named Shotzee she was the most loveable smartest dog ive ever known she taught herself to follow me up the ladder on the sliding board and slide down the slide by following me and my friends at the park lol she was the most loving dog would pick a different one of us boys to sleep with every night and she was very protective over the family she would go to every room in the house make sure everything and everyone was in place before she laid down to sleep every night .she would never mate though i guess she thought the 4 of us were all the kids she needed lol.I missed her so much when i graduated high school joined the army and went to Germany for 4 years . but to my surprise she still remembered me and was still running around jumping like a puppy was such a happy reunion we finally sadly had have he put down when she was 20 and come down with major health problems the Day after thanksgiving that year. we started the day like many others by letting her out in the backyard which is fenced in to use the bathroom and lay out in the sun which she loved to do since she was a puppy and when my brother went to check on her she was gone we looked everywhere for her and got a call from the police station that she had been found uptown which is over a mile from where we live we to this day have no clue how she got out of the yard but think it her way to tell us she was ready to go she had done all she was put here to do she raised her 4 boys to men and was tired we didnt have the heart to bring her back home to suffer anymore the vet agreed so we honored her last wish and all kissed her goodbye and let her go in peace every now and then ill see a dog that looks so much like her and i get a tear in my eye a smile on my face and longing in my soul thinking about our beloved little Miss Mutt lol😄
This video helped a lot I plan on getting one the end of December. I’m Pekingese passed a year ago now we had for 14 years. He went blind in both eyes.
I just got a cockapoo and my heart has never been so full. She is the most beautiful soul and the cutest animal ive ever seen. I can't imagine my life without Tabby. She is the smartest, funniest, cutest and sweetest pupoy ever❤
I have a Cockapoo that I have her since she was 2 mos. old but she passed away on feb.18,2021 after my birthday.she died of internal bleeding. She was so attached to me. I know you commented this a month ago, but I wanted to say I’m sorry for your loss. My family went through our Cockapoos death as-well from cancer last year November 2020 she was 13 as well. It was hard to get through but you know she will always be a part of you no matter where you go or what you do! Always remember the good times! They are great dogs
Out my poodle Luke in June he was my best friend and body guard miss him desperately I couldn't live without having a dog that's when I found my cockapoo he is 13 weeks old and so sweet they are the best

I have a cockapoo called Maria. Unfortunately, the day I got her I also found out shortly after my JRT had cancer (she was put down in October 16th.) But I’m still happy to have Maria in my life. Cockapoo’s are crazy! I’m trying to train her not to bite (she’s 4 months) and she just won’t stop it. Seriously. She just looks with those puppy eyes as if she didn’t just try and maul me XD. What she lacks in brain she makes up for in heart, though. She isn’t the brightest tool in the shed.
Oh she absolutely loved Tilly (my 12 y/o JRT that passed) though. Tilly didn’t like her much, typical Jack Russell behaviour. But she *loved* her. It was a one-sided thing. She was curious in the past about where Tilly went, but I think she didn’t know her for that long so she didn’t really understand or felt sad.
@Lottistari May I ask which on was higher energy? I'm guessing the Jack Russell, though I know their are exceptions to every breed 🙂 I'm between a Jack and a Cockapoo!
I have my baby for 3 years Annie.. she is the sweetest, loveable and so SMART. if she could talk... OH MY :) i think sometimes she thinks she is human.. she dances, sits, play dead, gives her paw.. such personality. easy to train. LOVE THIS BREED! AND IM ALLERGIC TO DOGS.. THIS ONE NO WAY. i sleep with her i brush hair hair nothing. but when i leave her alone i put her thundervest cause she will get seperation anxiety. but if you like to cuddle with your dog this is the one!
Same but I’m getting it in like 3 days and her name is molly I went to puppy land or somthing and she loved me and my brother but she liked my mom but she was also like I like you but--
This is the most wonderful breed--my Maize is five years old and makes me laugh everyday. I thought she would be under 25 lbs. but she weighs more. Not fat! Just know size is not always what you think it might be.....wouldn’t trade her for anything!
@@hammyfan6060, she doesn’t like it AT ALL! We are both retired so usually it’s not a problem. She has gotten better as she’s gotten older-she’s 5 now. She used to tee-tee every time I would come home.....she doesn’t do that anymore either....we learned to have her meet me on the porch!😂
Mine weighed a lot more than they said but people overfed her too much because she was so darn cute. I couldn’t stop them if they were taking care of her temporarily.
My cockapoo is friends with our Guinea pigs. She has never barked at them or shown aggression (unlike our relative’s dachshund). She even likes to sniff them through the cage and they will sniff her back. She likes to check on the during her morning rounds and they are more comfortable around her than us haha.
I've had my cockapoo 10 years now. Miss Emily Rose. These cockapoos are the most lovable sweet darling playful animals that I have ever seen. She has posed for PetSmart and videos showing how extremely intelligent she is... The only issue I see with these cockapoos or poodles is that I'm beginning to see joint back leg problems, extremely allergic to bug bites, fleas etc. She's been on apoquel almost all her life. She is still as lively as a puppy and she's 10 years old! I love my little girl, she goes everywhere with me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
l had a half pure breed shar-pei and poodle before cock-a-poos were a thing. He was the ultimate dog. Fierce, love-able, goofy and hyper intelligent. l believe that may be the best cross. RIP Mr. Buzz Pie. He lived 14 joyous years and everybody loved him.
We had a first generation one we named her muffin what a great do full of excitement if she saw one of us picking her up from the groomer man she would go crazy seeing us
I have a Cockapoo that I took care for 13 yrs. & yes she passed away on Feb.18th after my bday she got lymphoma..otherwise I took care of her since she was 2 mos.old.& she is insured.
I been searching for a cockapoo. But I need some references where to search I am scared to get scammed. Please let me know where did you get a cockapoo!
There are a few decent breeders in Wisconsin. If mom isn’t on site, I’d steer from that breeder. Look for breeders with reviews on Facebook and google with REAL reviews.
Is it strange that my dog responds to two names? Initially we got a cockerpoo and named her Ruby because she’s black and has these orange patterns which were named phantoms. She’s named ruby however she was a bit mischievous as a puppy so I started calling her buggerlugs as a nickname. You’d think her nickname would be rubes or some along the lines but no she has grown up responding to buggerlugs or ruby.
I thought what I had was a poodle, but thanks to this video, I have understood it is cockapoo. Mine is aggressive, active, and (stubborn, if I may out it that way). She hunt other animals and beds like fowl, cuts, local grown dogs on our way to her normal walk. I would like to ask if that is normal? Thank you
My cockapoo, runs after bunnies and squirrels all the time. She doesn't like strangers unless she can clearly see that I know them. I've never seen her hurt anyone or anything tho. She's got a really strange way of introducing herself lol. It kind of cracks me up honestly. She barks and growls at them but, after a year of having her I realized that's just her very odd way of saying hi. I have to tell people she's just saying hi and they put their hand out and she's typically cool with them after that. She's just really a goof
ADVISE NEEDED PLEASE…we have a 2-1/2 year old daughter that loves dogs. She always wants to hold and play with dogs that some of our family members own. But we are in search of a breed that sheds little to none, isn’t known to be snappy, and is very intelligent and easy to train. We were recommended the cockapoo by a co-worker. But we would love to hear more from people that have owned them. If anyone can be of any help we would appreciate it.
After enduring the death of our beloved Wire Fox Terrier due to Pancreatitis at 12 years old, we were absolutely heartbroken. He was the most perfect dog anyone could’ve wished for and was the love of our lives. We got another from the same bloodline a few months later and he’s now dying from the same issue at only two years old. I’m done with that breed, and that’s why I am researching others. If I can bring myself to ever get another dog, I’d consider this breed.
i am so very sorry you are going through that. it is always hard to lose our puppies they are like our family. i wish you happiness and healing in these times ❤
My best dog, I've had many, was my Cockapoo, Tourney. He was called Turney because my cats were Ping and Pong. He was Tournament, of course. He had pancreatitis also. He was my best dog. I trained him to do tricks with my five children. They would lie side by side on the floor and he would jump over all five kids. He knew about 15 tricks. He was patient, smart, docile and very energetic. He once chased away burglar who tried to enter through a balcony french door but at the same time he loved any visitor I approved of. He could tell who I didn't like and would protect me. Great dog but pancreatitis early in his life.
I got a cocopoow 7months his name is Loue he is very hard to manage always barking never will rest I am nearly 70i don't have abig garden Ido take him out 3times should I get him Nutt ered would it help he barkes aLot I love him finding him so hard work any advise he is wearing me out thanks 🐕💚
I have to add this about Ginger. She didn’t have arthritis, she still ate all of her food twice a day, drank water, and had no other issues but what I stated. The vet told me that her heart and lungs were still good. It was the dementia. She was a high jumper with her long legs, and she always said her prayer before bed. It when her nana asked her to. 💕
Thanks everyone! My Maltipoo passed suddenly Monday, and my house is too quiet. I am considering getting a Cockappo next. My Tobey was the smartest, and best dog ever…I see the Cockapoo has the same traits!
Do you have any recommendations on to what to do with your Pooch indoors? Like sometimes I get tired and I already know they are social energetic dogs. I'm social myself it's just around where I live there is like barely anything to do.
I got my cockapoo one month ago. She was 9 weeks old when I got her. I love her so much, and I’ve got everything you could possibly need or want for your furbaby. Am I the only one that has frustrations. She pees inappropriately (in crate, so no crate training- on food placemat, in her “tent”, everywhere! She is teething so I always have something appropriate handy for her to chew on. She bites hard, drawn blood on my hands and arms, jumps, growls. I walk her every morning so she can release some energy. And if not too hot, walk in evenings too. She was so tiny, I had to buy a cat harness because the xxs and xs puppy harnesses were too big. When trying to put it on her, you would think she’s in an all-out fight for her life. I’m doing my best to teach her. Please, am I the only one going through this? I hope once she loses her baby teeth that things will get a little easier. I’m open for any help or suggestions. I’ve watched lots of training videos. She knows “sit”, “lie down”. So I know she’s smart. She is just lovely when she’s tired and it’s bedtime. I just wish she would be more like that during the day. Help?!
My adopted cockapoo adult hates kids, cats and big black dogs. He is introvert just like me. He loves humans but hate dogs. I love dogs but dislike humans so we have much in common.
Hey so I’m thinking about getting a cockapoo and I was wondering if anyone else has one how long you can keep them by themselves? I’ve got school and my family have work so we leave early in the morning and come home in the afternoon.
I can only speak for mine....she does not and has never liked to be left alone. She wants to be were we are. That’s not to say she is never left alone, but she does NOT like it. She doesn’t like doggy daycare either. But once she gets there she’s ok. (Just like the child you leave at daycare 😂) she does do ok if I leave her with my sister because my sister treats her like I do....
Our cockapoo loves being with us but doesn't seem to mind it when we leave her for 2-3 hours. Whenever we need to away for a long time we have her stay with friends. They love her and she loves being with them too! We tried a crateless doggy care place which she did not like. Also, whenever I have to sequester either to wait for her fur to get dry or because we need to do a difficult task around the house or have people installing or fixing something in our home, she gets very unhappy after a while and cries which kills me. She is extremely intelligent,, funny and friendly!! :-D
We’ve had our cockapoo for a little over 2 years. She’s 2.5 yrs old. We only left her home within the last year or so occasionally for 6-7 hours. We don’t do it too often but we have a bathroom where its attached to another room and a gate that keeps her safe in there, in the area is her crate with her pillow, a blanket, a toy or 2, a safe bone. her water, a wee wee pad which is in a pad holder.. (we trained her to go on it when we first got her and now she will usually go on it if she has to go while she’s alone. She also will go outside. We trained her to go on command (within reason) outside. If she has to go she will jump up or sit right in your space and stare at you lol, then if we say “go outside” she does a very strong head tilt and runs for the door.) So back to when we leave her, we have a routine. Before we leave we get everything set up in her room and just before we leave not too much before, we give her some treats and say “we love you, we’ll be right back” then leave. We also leave a light on if it’s going to get dark. When she was a little puppy if we had to go out she was in a more common area but still a gated area like a 2ft by 6ft area with all the stuff I mentioned and we would leave the TV on. But we didn’t leave her very long. Maybe 2-3 hours at the most. But we worked up to it. Little by little she got the run of the house and now she sleeps with us on our bed. She’s got the most adorable happy playful sweet personality sometimes we think there’s s person in there pretending to be a dog ❤️.
My cockerpoo is 5 years, I would say it depends on how you train them, I work from home but also have a side of my life without her, I would say if you are able and willing to walk the dog for a good hour ( I take mine out for 1hr 30mins in the morning before leaving her in the lounge while I go upstairs in my office to work) that would be ok but be prepared for a crazy homecoming dance when you come home. all in all, I think you might want to look for a calmer dog breed (only specking based on my experience with my dog)
yes of course the dogs are adorable but the term cockapoo basically just means 'a fancy name for a crossbreed purely for monetary gain'... you can go to any shelter and get a crossbreed for an £100 donation,,,, people are paying hundreds or above for a crossbreed they are calling a cockapo or a labradoodle,,its a scam
I went to pick up a Cockapoo from the breeder. We were going to decide between two puppies… We picked a cream female, even though the male was also adorable, he looks like a mini St. Bernard. I was really taken aback, but I accepted him. So now we’ve got two.
Lovely and the two brother and sister got to stick together!
very sweet story, thanks for sharing
I’ve had my girl for over 14 years and she’s starting to lose her eyesight and hearing but she’s still just as sweet and energetic
When you lose her, be certain to keep her tags and collar.
We just put our buddy down yesterday. He was 17 years old. Such a good dog!
Soz to hear 😢

SPOODLE!!! That's what we call them in Australia and New Zealand. Love them!
I LOVE this! My mom and I just got a cockapoo and we’ve had a schnoodle (schnauzer poodle mix) for 16 years and still going strong! Now I can call them my schnoodle and my spoodle! Rolls off the tongue much better!
Lol. Much better name.
I call mine a cockadoodle. Then when he leaves a present, it’s a cockadoodle doo.
Sounds like something a Rooster would say just before sunup.
Lol
They are almost always the sweetest and fun dogs for the family, and very loyal and intelligent. I LOVE this breed!

In Australia we call them Spoodles. We have had our gorgeous white and tan boy for 2 months. My husband says that he is a bundle of pure joy. ❤
I just got one tonight he's 9 months old and the first thing he did was bite my face. This should be great

@@Fairydustshake Its okay to be nervous :)

@@hanak0288 Cool im getting one named Joy :)
@@jiyajala CUTEeeeee I just got her
I am getting my Cockapoo girl today!
This is the most wonderful breed--my Maize is five years old and makes me laugh everyday. I thought she would be under 25 lbs. but she weighs more. Not fat! Just know size is not always what you think it might be.....wouldn’t trade her for anything!
Corn
@@larks., yes, she has been called corn dog! 😂
How does she do when you have to leave for a couple hours?
@@hammyfan6060, she doesn’t like it AT ALL! We are both retired so usually it’s not a problem. She has gotten better as she’s gotten older-she’s 5 now. She used to tee-tee every time I would come home.....she doesn’t do that anymore either....we learned to have her meet me on the porch!😂
Mine weighed a lot more than they said but people overfed her too much because she was so darn cute. I couldn’t stop them if they were taking care of her temporarily.
We just got our sweet boy two days ago. It's very very hard to leave him every morning to go to work.
ALL PUPPY CUTE 💕
Wish we were allowed to have dogs here makes me sad and upset,!
Uhhh i do not know
I am wondering what the 4 thumbs down are, beggars belief what some people can draw a negative out of.
Happy souls indeed!!!!
Getting mine tomorrow!!
May i ask where?
l had a half pure breed shar-pei and poodle before cock-a-poos were a thing. He was the ultimate dog. Fierce, love-able, goofy and hyper intelligent. l believe that may be the best cross. RIP Mr. Buzz Pie. He lived 14 joyous years and everybody loved him.
Very cute dogs. Good temperament
Our mom’s friend has like a Cockapoo puppy named Darren and loves playing with our dog Mittens.
We had a first generation one we named her muffin what a great do full of excitement if she saw one of us picking her up from the groomer man she would go crazy seeing us
Cockapoo is my child favorite breed, she always wants a cockapoo
I have a Cockapoo that I took care for 13 yrs. & yes she passed away on Feb.18th after my bday she got lymphoma..otherwise I took care of her since she was 2 mos.old.& she is insured.
We are adopting a cockapoo in two days❤
I been searching for a cockapoo. But I need some references where to search I am scared to get scammed. Please let me know where did you get a cockapoo!
There are a few decent breeders in Wisconsin. If mom isn’t on site, I’d steer from that breeder. Look for breeders with reviews on Facebook and google with REAL reviews.
A breeder
Big Sky Cockapoo, Missoula, Mt
Look for Greenfield puppies in PA. The pups are raised by the Menonites or Amish.
Where can I find a cockatoo mini????
Believe it or not cockapoos are extremely good hunting dogs
I can confirm this. My pup caught a grouse on his own at only 8 months old.
He goes bonkers for birds!

My Cockapoo is named Bella
My cockatoo is everything but cuddly and snuggly she likes her personal space
Yes
Beautiful breed wire haired must have been bad luck I’m sorry that you went through that
But I’m sure you love them forever regardless
Awesome dog. Mine goes hiking like a champ and he weight 35 lbs
Aww sweet what brand of food do you give him my cockapoo is 13 lbs and he is 2 years old I feed him Hills
I’m getting a cackapoo in the spring and it I’m so exited but I have to wait till march :((((
I have to add this about Ginger. 💕
We just got one and are loving the experience. Paco has made a great addition to our family and our humble house feels like a home ❤again.
❤
my cockapoo lived to 19yrs
I hope mine does, too....
Cavapoo vs cockapoo
Just touched down!!!
I don’t think they should be called ‘clowns’ due to their intelligence
I have a cockapoo but it have straight hair and it's a cream color
Do they pull on walks and are they weak 2:38
Do this bark a lot?? I live in a Senior Apartment.
Time; define how long can they last alone with toys and other pets?
I have a cockapoo i love her dearly
Hey, I’ve had a cockapoo for almost two years now and she’s well over 30 pounds, is that normal?

I’m getting a new Cockerpoo😊😊😊😊
Thanks everyone! My Maltipoo passed suddenly Monday, and my house is too quiet. I am considering getting a Cockappo next. My Tobey was the smartest, and best dog ever…I see the Cockapoo has the same traits!
❤
Did you purchase. I'm picking mine up this weekend
@@7827636 I adopted a Maltese Mix! Absolutely beautiful!
$500 is nothing. My Cockapoo’s day care is $650/month lol. She is so worth it though!
You spend that much on what exactly?
Do you have any recommendations on to what to do with your Pooch indoors? Like sometimes I get tired and I already know they are social energetic dogs. I'm social myself it's just around where I live there is like barely anything to do.
My cockapoo cali is crazy so cute but so crazy
I have a German Shepherd about 3 years old, considered all other breeds. Shepherd’s are quite intelligent and looks like the cockadoodle is too.
I love cockapoo s
Hi
I have a cross bull dog and shitzhu but I don’t like the breeds name 😆
My cockapoo is full grown and at 35 lbs
Help?!
You need to socialise her, they need people and other dogs maybe she needs even more exercise and remember to play games with her.
My Sammy peed whenever people came to the door. Not scared, just excited 🥰 I miss him
Hi just wondering if the growling and nipping stop our puppy has the same story to yours thank you
Mine is anything but happy
I've watched Paw patrol aka skye I would love to have a cockopoo I would love it and cherish moments with it. I'd be very responsible to.
What sizes do they come in
A bit little but here are the sizes
1. Teacup/Micro
2. Toy
3. Mini
4. Maxi
Watching these videos hoping they help lol
I just got mine I have a boy he looks like a teddy bear if he was standing still it would look like he was a dog teddy bear
That you can cuddle
My adopted cockapoo adult hates kids, cats and big black dogs. He is introvert just like me. He loves humans but hate dogs. I love dogs but dislike humans so we have much in common.
Haha nice
Hey so I’m thinking about getting a cockapoo and I was wondering if anyone else has one how long you can keep them by themselves? I’ve got school and my family have work so we leave early in the morning and come home in the afternoon.
I can only speak for mine....she does not and has never liked to be left alone. She wants to be were we are. That’s not to say she is never left alone, but she does NOT like it. She doesn’t like doggy daycare either. But once she gets there she’s ok. (Just like the child you leave at daycare 😂) she does do ok if I leave her with my sister because my sister treats her like I do....
how long would they be alone

Wow????
Myself
Want to buy two females cavapoos.
Hard to find a reputable breeder.
Reputable breeders don't breed them. Reputable breeders don't breed mutts
@@personanon2879 your point?
puppy spot
@@personanon2879 those 'mutts' are healthy. If anything this type of breeding is not harmful.
I have a cockatoo🦮❤️
Cockapoos can come in multi-color too.
Yeah when I was looking on a pet website there was a cockapoo that was beige with black spots 🥺
I had one a long time ago. She was cream colored with apricot highlights.
We have a Pardi Cockapoo which is black, white with some gray spots on the white parts of the body. Super cute!
I am getting a white and black cockapoo
yes of course the dogs are adorable but the term cockapoo basically just means 'a fancy name for a crossbreed purely for monetary gain'... you can go to any shelter and get a crossbreed for an £100 donation,,,, people are paying hundreds or above for a crossbreed they are calling a cockapo or a labradoodle,,its a scam
