Creed was legendary. The problem like a lot of bands at that time, three doors down, etc played to the RADIO. Creed had a ton of hits but they were done in by their own vices
The lead singer Scott Stapp is still making music. And still sounds great. Sad, but it became a trend to hate them like with Nickelback. But, the hate was also because of the religious undertones in their music. Since Christian rock bands like Skillet have been on the rise these days, Creed would've done well.
Amanda Fox no doubt about it. I remember buying Creed CDs. I had heard for years about this idea of just creating hits for the radio. They created a ton of hits. Scott Stapp was homeless for awhile. Sad, would love to see a comeback
It seemed like Scott Stapp was the driving force behind the end of Creed. The rest of the band stayed together and became Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy at vocals/guitar and is still out there killing it. Scott to his credit seems to have worked thru his demons and is playing/touring and sounds fantastic.
This album got me through a very long 18 hour drive from Texas to Minnesota many years ago! I love Scott’s voice and was heartbroken when Creed disbanded.
As someone in their 30s .. this is awesome to see someone who's probably about 8-12 years younger totally jamming out to creed.. there's hope for this generation 🙏 😄
Awe, nicest group of guys back in the day. They gave my little daughter an autograph when she recognized the lead singer in the mall. Record Labels ruin artists.
Music can make your spirit soar. Glad you felt this one. I was at Universal Studios in Orlando with my lady when they filmed the bus scene. It was amazing!
Omg, I asked you to play Creed!!! My Own Prison is a must!!! Thank you so much! This is a great song but you have to start with My Own Prison please! I recommend What If, Bullets, Weathered and Higher, One Last Breath, What’s This Life For, One, Torn, Say I and Faceless Man! I hope you do all these, I so appreciate you taking a listen to Creed! You are fantastic and I love Creed!🤟👏🥰
You should check out Creeds “One Last Breath” (Six Feet From The Edge)” “My Own Prison” “Higher” “With Arms Wide Open” (This was out when I was Pregnant. His dad especially favored the song and dedicated it to our now 21 year old!) Creed did have many good songs but I also feel they didn’t get the credit they deserved as musicians & their songs that should have been played or released as singles weren’t put out there seeing that at the time they weren’t playing the style of music that was the hits on the radio, When I first remember them they were a big hit with the first 2 or 3 songs but then it seemed they kind of disappeared! It’s funny they could have some really dark songs like the first 2 I mentioned and also have uplifting songs about love! I think the uplifting songs is prolly what radio and media wanted and they weren’t just about those songs only and so they didn’t get promoted as they should’ve been. That’s my opinion & theory I could be way off base tho.
Damn. Watching this has me wanting to go back and just add Creed to my Spotify playlist. The lyrics are amazing though. Like I know there’s a religious undertone there but the songs all go beyond that. I love Scott Stapp’s voice too.
If you haven't already, check out "In Loving Memory" by Alter Bridge. Mark Tremonti (lead guitarist of both Creed and Alter Bridge) wrote it as a tribute to his Mom, who passed away. I can't get through that song without crying.
"My own prison" was my therapy song back in the day... I got and still get so much hate for liking them, which is silly, the man's voice is great, not sure why so many hated creed
Mark Trimonti formerly of Creed definitely an underrated guitarist. He pretty much plays PRS (Paul Reed Smith guitars 24 fret. He uses many alternate tunings, instead og E A D G B E. This song is dropped down to D A D A D D tuning. Was just playing this song with my PRS SE 24 fret through my BOSS ME 80 direct in a digital PA board out to two QSC KC 12 2.O, each speaker is powered at a solid 2,000 watts R.M.S. Would love to add two QSC 18" Sub woofers to my system. My neighbors hate me.
I love crows. Sometimes you gotta look beyond the surface and see that they are actually symbols of power and wisdom. Check out the mythology around crows. Watch the movie The Crow. :) Great channel, man
Cool visuals on that video. Nice reaction. I highly recommend checking out the music video for "Higher" by Creed. The song was really big, and the video is creative
Visit some of Creeds early work from either My Own Prison, or Human Clay albums.... after that, their style changed up a little and the lead singer started getting really preachy, IMO. They are considered Christian rock though so......
My highschool class picked this song to play at our graduation ceremony. It's been 10 years I haven't seen a single one of them in person and 2 already went away because of cancer, they picked right.
My Own Prison is a much harder sounding album. They are my all time favorite band. Have seen them multiple times in concert. Once two times in a week. Check out Torn and My Own Prison.
You should check out Creed With Arms Wide Open & keep in mind when you watch it . Scott Stapp wrote the lyrics for his unborn son & Mark Termonti had the rest of the music written already & they put the two together & it became their biggest hit .
LOL Me...crows freak me out. Movies usually don't scare me but watching The Birds as a kid still freaks me out. With Arms Wide Open needs to be added to your list.
There is a reason why a group of crows is called a "murder." Next time you see a group of them, freak your friends out and say, "Oh, look. A murder of crows." Be totally deadpan about it, too. It will add to the humor.
Ahhhhh people love creed behind closed doors. lol Higher is a GOAT song in my book. If it dosen't get you up and feeling good well you may be sick? Another suggestion The Verve Pipe " The Freshmen"
Dude I love Crows. Did you know they are one of the most intelligent birds, and can actually speak ten times better than a parrot. They are smart as hell, and set up their prey. I watched a single crow flying around a hawk, and the hawk started chasing the crow. I thought it was weird because crows always travel in packs (a murder). This single crow dove down into these trees and the hawk started to follow, then put on the brakes and tried to fly away as a huge murder of crows came out from the trees and attacked and killed the hawk.
They also remember individual human faces, and if someone mistreats one of them, somehow ALL the crows will react very negatively to that person, as if the mistreated crow telepathically spread the person's mugshot to the rest, ha. And by the same token, if a person is kind to them all the crows will respond positively to that person and even leave gifts for the person. If a crow finds a dead crow it calls for its fellows and the crows will surround the dead one and seem to carry out some sort of mourning ritual. Corvids are one of the most intelligent of all the bird species.
Great reaction dude. Check out Beautiful by Creed Ode by Creed Pity For A Dime by Creed Overcome by Creed One by Creed Say I by Creed Never Die by Creed To Whom It May Concern by Creed
Know what you mean about crows is horror movies - maybe you've never seen Hitchcock's movie, The Birds - but then again, maybe you shouldn't! But just so you know, crows (and other covids) are some of the smartest birds - arguably smarter than dogs and cats in that they use tools. Look up the video "Sledding Crow in Russia". It will take away your bird fear!!!
"With Arms Wide Open" (Creed)

Radio rock…they definitely were trapped by their own devices. Once radio was done with them, it was near impossible to reach anyone
@@amandafox8603 nope its because Scott stapp was a dick²

A lot of strong messages can be heard in a Creed song. Great sound. Love all their songs.
Nostalgic husky voice of Scott stapp takes to my younger days..this brings tears to my eyes.
I recommend Staind" So Far Away".
This is great man, listen to One Last Breath by them if you can
Following up in this. Has he yet?
@@_JustHavinFun_ I don’t think so. 😔
One Last Breath and What's this Life For are my favorite Creed songs.
@@lisasmythe3826 What’s this life for is AMAZING. Really makes you think about our purpose here and such emotion

If you haven't already, check out "In Loving Memory" by Alter Bridge. Mark Tremonti (lead guitarist of both Creed and Alter Bridge) wrote it as a tribute to his Mom, who passed away. I can't get through that song without crying.

Nothing like 90’s Alternative. Love it.

Do My Own Prison by Creed. Great song.
POD "Youth of the Nation"
Love this era of Creed
If you liked this, try My Own Prison, One and Arms Wide Open.
The lead singer used to shuck our oysters at Barnacle Bill’s in Tallahassee! Such a great, strong voice!
Love this one! If you haven't heard Higher and With Arms Wide Open, you need to. Higher is one of those tunes I play multiple times in a row.
Loved this song, then when the video release, it stopped me in my tracks because it showed...he was singing to God!
Yes, try Arms Wide Open!!!!
He has such an awesome voice
Do the cranberries "zombie"
Once thought of as a Christian band because of the open expressions of faith by lead singer, videos, etc. Loved them!!

In every movie where somebody gets an eye eaten it's gotta be those damn crows 😱🤣

If you see just one it's an attempted murder 😉

Awesome reaction dude! Time to check out Popular Monster by Falling in Reverse 🤟🏾🔥🎸
Fun fact crows are actually pretty smart and remember the faces of those who cross them
Best song from Creed is their most popular, My Own Prison.
Creed is a Christian rock band.
DerangedVoices Their not a Christian rock band the band themselves dismissed that theory
greatest christian rock band of all time
Should check some Tantric tunes as well. Mourning, Live Your Life, or Astounded come to mind
Dang be bopping his head like it’s a rap song 😭
they are back on tour
Great reaction. You will like Creed. A few of my favorites are Weathered, My Own Prison, Whats This Life For and What If.
Great song. Great band!
They're pigeons not crows.
You missed the end when the lead singer turned into the old man from the beginning of the music video.
Creed is a Christian Rock band...?they have some awesome songs!!...very strong voice....nice reaction!!!
