This was a members only video, they did not last long due to a very low uptake on channel memberships so video creation was stopped after a few videos.

Thank you for this. I have an instructor who 'references' things we haven't learned in a study sheet for quizzes. I've been googling key words of the sentences on said study sheet in hopes of hits. Your video is another win. Perfect.

Many thanks, Neil. It seems one can manage without this, but it really gives you that extra step which especially works well on long term projects. It's always good to have options.

I have to admit it have previously seen the notes thing by inadvertently pressing something by mistake. Is there a shortcut key? Aside being annoyed by its appearance I never considered actually using it. This does seem like it could be a powerful tool though, now explained properly. Thank you again for your time and support to the Inventor community.

Love your videos so much I wanted to join. I just advanced in my professional career as a mechanical designer but have so much to learn about inventor. You do an awesome job of explaining things where they are easily understood so please keep the content rolling! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Thank you a lot Neil. Did not had the time yet to go deeper on the engineers notebook. I will definitely use this.
I have a short question about the Discord server. I joined but it seems i am always alone on the server and i can not write anything. Apparently i am not the only one who has this problem. Two other guys also posted a comment under your post for the link to the discord server.

Maybe useful in collaboration design teams, but I've never found a use for them in a single-user workflow. Same with the SolidWorks Equivelent.

I've been using Inventor for 23 years and every time I have attempted to use the Engineer's notebook, I've found it extremely annoying and buggy. Annoying mainly because the little yellow notes either show up in front of your model space and clutter up the picture, OR if you take the time to figure out how to turn them off, then you forevermore CAN'T FIND the notes you made because they don't show up in the browser the way Autodesk says they should. Seems like Autodesk threw this tool in and never really tested it.

Hi Neil Great vid. I will be using it in future. I found by accident that the annoying glyph can be turned on and off. Go to ----- Options - Notebook - Display in Model. Uncheck the box "Note Icons" Good to see you back at the Inventor helm. Cheers!!
