Men's college hoops had their "We Arrived" moment via the national prime time Game of the Century (January 20, 1968) -- Houston v UCLA -- in front of 53,000 fans at the Astrodome.....and which aired through a TVS Television Network syndication deal w/ 120 stations. Up until the ratings/attendance success of the game -- only a couple post-season tourney games aired on national TV. Iowa v DePaul may just be that "We Arrived" moment for the women's game.
You know where this couldn't happen? UConn...their football stadium, such as it is, only holds 40,000. From a conference that features the Michigan "Big House", the Ohio State Horseshoe, and Camp Randall in WI, even lowly Northwestern has a 47K seating capacity. Kinnick Stadium is one of the jewels of the B1G, so glad it was put to good use for this event. B1G, the foremost women's basketball conference.
Someone who says "like" more than the Kardashian-Jenners. I didn't think that was possible. Hopefully she improves as she gets more media experience. Go women athletes go!!!
She’s a 22 year old sir, she’ll get there. Expecting her to present herself as something other than herself isn’t ideal. Give her time to come into herself as a woman.
Caitlin Clark single handily lit women’s basketball on fire. I’ve never watched any women sports coverage this much.
Caitlin Clark the best basketball player ever 🐐
I want to know if I’m the only Chicago Fever fan this year 😂
My 1st year watching and Im going to watch The Fever and Sky

It was definitely hyped up man, all over espn and all the major sports networks. It was a great game
It was the very first game of the season, back in October. Largest crowd to ever see a women's college hoops game.
It was a scrimmage
