One of the funniest things about this is that Stu apparently wasn't an actor. He was just an actual IT guy named Stu who was also mates with the director, and got told he was going to have a few cameos in the film as a joke. He didn't even know he had a major role until he watched the it for the first time.
Darryl Anthony Facebook used to have a feature where you could “poke” people, and they could poke you back. I don’t know if they still do, I haven’t been on Facebook in years.
Stu was a real IT guy and he also had no idea that his character would be that important in the movie. He wasn’t told what was going to happen half the time, they basically told him to be in scenes and react in real time to the other characters’ antics. \o/ He’s also the one who designed the strobing light effects in Thor Ragnarok’s Valkyrie flashback scene !
This movie is freaking hilarioys but also the characters had some kind of tender humanity and unique personalities wich made them more special. I love how the evolute throught the whole movie. I love how genuinely nice they were. "I'm knitting a scarf for Stu"...Aww
I mean, he didn't hurt Stu after being asked not to, and also was friends with the ones he turned into vampires after so many years, so I think he was kind of nice
Keep pausing through the selfie scene. Those pics go by so fast you can't catch them all. When you step through you can see them all and some of them are quite hilarious. Ex: What the hell is going on with the clown?
That could be a nod to the film Interview with the vampire where the protagonist is fascinated by seeing sun on film at the end of the movie when film technology progresses
What a great movie. Pretty funny. I gotta say though; if you decide you're going to watch it, stop watching videos on youtube right now. way too much of the movie is already uploaded in clips, and it is essentially a bunch of jokes.
Colin Bell Very true. Seeing this in the theater without any expectations was a total riot. The parts they uploaded give away a lot of the left-turns that kept the movie fresh every five minutes. It's undeniably great either way, but I'm glad I didn't see anything beforehand.
I really thought the film was hilarious all the way along...but for some reason the funniest thing about it to me is that all this immortal vampires just all pretty much fall in love with an IT guy called Stu within 5 minutes of meeting him! :)
Didn't expect this to become one of my favorite movies after seeing it recommended on imgur some time ago. I always find myself laughing at the simplest things it presents lol.
Imagine just being some guy who hung out with an artsy kid in high school. And suddenly he is the director of an amazing comedy. So now you are a revered comedy character
+Max Mustermann I relate.... I had a flatmate who ate nothing but takeout pizza slices.... and he still had to complain to me that the dish I used a month ago was sitting in the sink. I got married since then, so I've gotten a teensy bit better... but we got divorced, so now I'm back to.. a tenth as bad as that. (Pats self on back)
I mean they literally are invisible in front of mirrors and at that point are used to photography that needs to get to Developed first 🤷🏻♂️🧛🏻♂️🧛🏻♂️🧛🏻♂️
The only real weakness of this hilarious spoof of every vampire movie (and documentary) cliche ever filmed is its almost too funny. Often times there are several hilarious spoofs at once- vampires, werewolves, documentaries and … Anchorman! Don't miss the credits, they got some really funny stuff in there too, right to the very end.
I have just come here again after watching the fim Nuff jokes I love how silly they all are and how much they love and idolise Stu Peter's nod is so sweet Please not i know i have spelled peter wrong its 2am

"so maybe don't turn him, he's uh, he's a vegetarian"
*Petyr nods understandingly*
Natalia i dont get it? what does mean?
@@ariannelml it means if he becomes a vampire he won't be able to eat human
a vampire can't be a vegetarian they'll die
Yeah, for the moment. Given the opportunity, Petyr would immediately feed on Stu. LOL
peter's understanding nod is probably the greatest bit of comedy in this film.
Them watching the sunrise onscreen is kind of adorable and heartwarming
The idea is taken from Interview with the vampire, btw
.🤔😑.
It also sets up very well the scene later on where deacon is watching the sunrise video and almost gets hit by a real one
When he said oh shit i lmao to hard
ggh

@This is going to make me sound like a bitch but he's the bus driver
Real Talk😱?!?
Seriously???
I wonder if he got any compensation pay or did he just get ripped off
I believe he did some of the special effects for Thor Ragnorak.
Petyr h
never speaks, but that tiny nod he makes when Nick's asking him not to kill Stu is hilarious!
Listen closely and you can hear a tiny guttural growl from him.
"they like him more then me I reckon"
CountTentacula He makes the occasional hissing sound too
Petyr is honestly one of the funniest characters I’ve ever seen! With his nods and hissing sounds
Yep
"Please don't turn him into a vampire, he's a vegetarian..."
*slight nod*
Petyr is a pretty chill dude.
But he turned into something else

He’d probably find it on Etsy.

to be honest, that was a damn good prank ahahaha

Sopph Dallevés none of the other vampires made any more vampires, just used their familiars. Petyr was real nice if you think of it like that
Viago was so sweet and adorable
Nick turned Deacon’s familiar into a vampire but Nick’s not exactly the best vampire yet
petyr is so considerate and open to his flatmates friends
Despite being 8000 years old and not showing up to flat meetings
I just realized Vlad loved looking at himself in the camera so much because he can't use mirrors and not just because it's new technology.
It's so fun when Nick speaks to Petyr XD
Ia Urodka I like that petyr is nodding to not bite stu.
hes reasonable
Petyr is 8000 years old and clearly reached the point where he doen't give a shit anymore.
