'What We Do In The Shadows' - out in the UK on 21 Nov!
Viago, Deacon, and Vladislav are three vampires living together and trying to cope with modern life; from paying rent, doing housework, and trying to get into nightclubs, they’re perfectly normal - except for their immortality, fangs, and thirst for human blood. When their 8000 year-old housemate, Petyr, turns 20-something Nick into a vampire, the guys must guide him through his newfound eternal life. In return, they are forced to learn a thing or two about modern life.

Viago slapping the werewolf with his glove was so funny!
In Viago's day, when honor was everything, and a gentleman like him were to be insulted in public, it would expected for the person insulted to slap the offender across the face with his glove, as an invitation to a duel which the offender is honor bound to accept, indicating this by returning the gesture. Of course the werewolf, who clearly isn't as long lived as Viago, doesn't get it.

I love that Vlad is legitimately afraid and panicking when one of them is snarling and losing control.
Well a fully transformed werewolf is typically one of the few creatures a vampire feels legit fear of.
Viago probably has had a bad experience with werewolves in the past since he's been alive since the medieval times

@@rheinhartsilvento2576 Not that I remember. At the beginning of the movie, each of the group are interviewed and Vlad's story sounds similar to Vlad Dracula's, which was around the 15th century

I started watching Our Flag Means Death and didn't knew him but from this but the memory's a blog blurred out so I don't remember much and I only looked up imdb pics and he looked so young lmao had to go back to this and realise he does look amazing.

Stu is either the most straight faced coward or the least impressed man I've ever seen in fiction. He was caught between 2 groups of legendary beings about to indulge in Immortal Kombat, and he gave no hint of cowardice. We should all inscribe this example of machismo in our books of bravery.

MorrisonHotel87 Or better yet it could fallow Stu marriage to a female vampire, who is from a strict conservative vampire family, who believes werewolves are below them. Things get more complicated when she get's pregnant out of wedlock and the guys are worried that Stu won't be around to hangout with anymore. Aided by her family, they try to break them up before Stu draws the wrath of her father.

Taika and Jemaine were legit working on a project revolving around the werewolves, but i think its on hold for now since they started working on the wwdits tv show and Taika's busy with other movies.
The best part was the name: "We're Wolves". Genius.
That is the one downside to Taika becoming big in Hollywood, he has less time to do more low key projects like We’re Wolves, my guess is he’ll probably do it after he’s done his Star Wars movie

A detail I like in this film and in the TV show is that when the werewolves start transforming or being more werewolf-like their eyes have eyeshine.

Just for laughs, to all werewolf fans out there, which of the werewolves in this clip was your favorite? I kind of liked the leader Anton, he's the one I would probably take my chances with (except on a full moon of course), and also the nerdy one with the glasses, he SEEMED the most harmless, and probably the one to watch out for the most.

Honestly, if you're from the UK, you can replace that first line with some other asinine insult and you've been in or witnessed this situation.
In nz alot of our slang and just the way we speak is heavily uk influenced, but the word cunt basically just means bro here lmao unless you want it to lead to confrontation
