As someone who’s also in her 40s, I think we all went through the beige phase and never again. I love color now more than ever because life is just too short to live in beige rooms. The host has a beautiful home and you can see she loves it, I wish her many more happy memories there.
YES! That beige phase, and the all white walls..OMG, hated it so much. Also, everything looked like it was purchased at 'target' and homes were filled (literally) with plants, plants dirty plants everywhere, thought it was awful

As someone watching from the UK, hearing about US estate sales is making me want to fly over there and go on an estate sale tour and ship all my finds back to England 😂
😂😂 I will gladly trade you places to shop 😂 we have curators who fly to England and sell their market finds to us here!!! I assume England would have the loveliest items but then again I’m under the impression furniture stays in the family a long time ❤

Thank you! It definitely did not look like that before! We did keep the brick but added the open air garage and hired a landscape designer to help with a new curbed driveway and plant layout. It really helped!!!!

I’ve learned so much with this episode! Caster wheels in dinner chairs! I ran to Amazon to get this great idea!!! I love how her items are easily accessible vs having to go down a rabbit hole to find similar items. I just love what she did with her “stuff”!

Tassels hanging on lamps, doorknobs, and drawer pulls. 25 years ago, I had my husband hang my black coromandel screen high on the wall behind my couch in the living room. I am not Asian, but I love Chinoiserie style lamps and artwork. Best Homeworthy tour ever!!!

A teen I’m seeing on Homeworthy, however, that I would love to see go away - apologizing for Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Target, etc. These stores are where a good portion of the population shop and they should never feel self conscious about it.
