I love this home! I’ve never found white walls and minimalism calm or relaxing but she has found a way to make it feel less stark & inviting. It’s beautiful ❤
She has a wonderful eye. She done some wonders with second hand items and made them look high end. While I admire its crisp sophistication, I find Scandinavian can seem a bit cold, but she’s really warmed it up with her other influences and exquisite taste.
I hope she finds more of those beautiful portraits. People of colour played prominent roles in colonial societies, but their stories have often been erased.

I’m a huge fan of Scandi for the earth tones and clean lines that have such a calming effect on my mind and soul at the end of a busy work day. In fact, I found myself decluttering more, and moving to this style when I started WFH. Ajai’s home is beautiful and I love how she’s DIY’d much of it.

Ajai Guyot has a beautiful home. I can definitely see the mix of Scandinavian / Wabi and minimalism decor. I would be terrified of a white sofa with a 3 year old in the house. More power to her. The home decor is not particularly my taste, however the host was just stunning which is why I watched til the end. She’s delightful.
I love the simplistic, clean and neutral design aesthetic. Although the color scheme is very calm, your design style still came through. I love functional & sustainable pieces. Our homes should be a reflection of who we are - it feels warm just like you ❤

Her space definitely has the basics in place, I do feel that adding a bit more pattern and color would better suit her personality. I am impressed with how she carries herself and have no doubt that her home will be as refined as she is.

I’m a Brit who has also lived in France and Denmark for a few years, Not seeing those styles here and glad we get to see some bits of colour, bc it’s mostly quite bland. It’s nicely put together, clean and well organised all very important qualities for a home.

The portrait artworks are beautiful, but I find minimalistic Scandinavian homes very boring. It seemed like an Airbnb, no personality. However I will say the house is very clean and has a good Flow.
I find overly cluttered homes distracting, and often dusty and not quite clean. I love the minimalistic style of this beautiful home. Her home is just as lovely and well styled as she is.
Why do you have to deliberately smocked that lady’s home? All of home tours don’t have to be the same. Home worthy puts different designed for people to select.
