I was overcome with emotion by the beauty of this composition and Tengyue's interpretation and execution of it. Besides his obviously hard-earned technical skills, he plays with great touch and sensitivity, which renders this piece the masterpiece that it is. Thanks Tengyue Zhang, GSI, and Sergio Assad! Best regards from Detroit.

@@Blackreapxr actually, it does matter. As a classical guitarist myself, I'm very much interested in specifications, particularly strings. It makes quite a difference to the player, novice or professional, what type and quality of strings he uses. I also suggest you be a little more polite. :)
@@psubba17 As a classical guitarist as well with a degree in performance, you should be trying different strings out and finding out which is best for you. What purpose does knowing serve? I guess it doesn't hurt if it's a brand that you've never heard of as it introduces something, but too often I find people trying to copy somebody's setup which is ridiculous. They ask for their exact action in mm, exact strings, like why? Figure out what works for you.
Romantic and poetic playing, I like the fact we can hear his breath.

Sérgio Assad é um grande compositor para violão da atualidade
Such sensibility ! And such a soft, round guitar sound !
Insanely beautiful playing, masterful recording too
Exquisite performance of this beautiful piece by Sergio Assad.
So very well done. Played with such sensitivity, I feel as if I'm playing it myself.
Stunningly beautiful performance! Bravo! 👏

Beautiful playing
What a beautiful piece and performance. Just bought the sheet music.
Beautiful classical music that never dies. Do guitar players choose the guitar or you choose one for them?
A really touching performance :)
So far, so good, so beautiful..
Bravo, la guitarra, el intérprete, la obra, la grabación, dulzura para los sentidos.

would love to know the mic used for this!

I wish you can always tell us the strings used for the recordings .
That shouldn't matter. If you want to figure out what strings to use just try different ones. More goes into tone using the same strings.
Yes it does matter .
@@adelminkara Probably matters to him. Why would you care what strings he uses? You're not going to replicate tone with a string change lol

Beautiful piece, beautiful playing, beautiful recording. Are you just using the Ribbon mic? Is it an AEA R44?
Wan MEI de, 😀

What does "Valseana" mean? Is it just a name? Or does it have some meanings?
Valseana is a piece of a Brazilian guitarist named Sergio Assad. The name comes from the word "Valsa", that mean waltz. #proud to be Brazilian!
Toca bem, mas a versão do Fabio Lima tá melhor.
I wish they mic'd it up better though. The breathing, as emotional as it might come across to some, is a huge distraction. This ain't no concert hall
too many O faces in this performance
big face
Beautiful!!!
