If it is youself that is personally dealing with you're own addictions, the fact that you are wanting change is brilliant and the first step to overcoming. I wish you all the luck in the world. Wouldn't that mean that even if you DID meet someone romantic under this Leo New moon it would be fleeting and wouldn't have the substance to last?
Not necessarily. Venus retrograde doesn't deserve the negativity attributed to it. People say all kinds of things like you can't change your looks or enter into a relationship when Venus is retrograde. I met my wife of 13 years, whom I am still married to by the way, during a Venus retrograde. I think what you should be aware of is Venus being invisible at the moment. However Venus becomes visible on 20th of August ( my birthday) as a morning star. So I will advise to wait till then before taking any official action regarding a relationship.
