Seriously your channel and your techniques and explanations need to be designed into an AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN TRAINING. You are amazing !
Thanks brother! There might just be something like that coming in the future. 😁👍
The new car urethane bumpers on cars are extremely thin and crack easy.
Yes
This is awesome but im going to be doing bumper fillers, taillight fillers and the pieces by the license plate frame on a 79 Cadillac DeVille. How do i know what plastic i have? Thanks 😊😊😊😊😊
Is there a repair kit for urethane bumpers??
as always.. great video... thank you for all these tutorials.
My pleasure!
Thanks for all your great videos. Question what would be the process if it was single stage paint same issue
Great video thanks for all the tips
A very informative video on repairing a plastic bumper, lots of good info there Chris and you really know what you are doing with these repairs, there are so many different types of plastic so you need to know which one you are repairing so you have the correct plastic filler ribbon.
Really enjoy your videos Chris👌👍John UK
Oh I've just ordered the Rongpeng R500 LVLP Spray Gun with all 5 different tip sets, seeing it on your channel and another person I follow uses one so I just had to get one, for the price it's a no brainer👍
Get the kits with universal plastic ribbons. You'll know if it's the wrong plastic cause it won't melt in or stick. Enjoy the R500! Great bargain
Hack for the steel mesh. Get a cigar torch and heat the mesh red hot then drive it into the plastic with something you can get it real deep then. The weld plastic over it or even better slaver 3m epoxy all over the back. Forget the 3m number. I have to look. If you are gonna use plastic I highly recommend going to a junkyard finding a similar bumper and cutting chunks off it to use as filler material. That way your plastic matches. Example the plastic on an Audi B5 S4 is a mix of stuff. So I had to use stock filler and 3m to fuse mine. I also groved down into the break from the outside.
Good tips! There's a lot of different ways to get good results with plastic repair. Appreciate the comment and support brother!
Blend in indeed that will be a big help Chris cheers look forward to the next clip Phil from Australia.
Australia cool! Appreciate the comment and support!
Sir, Can you please upload the video regarding how you set up the air compressor and how you make the air system for a perfect painting result?
I need to do that
Great tutorial Chris! Yes I'm ready for some fall weather!
I'm a welder in Alabama.
Right on! 🔥🔥
great video!
Thanks!
Oh man Tom is going to have a cow you called his 'polish' a 'compound' ! Just messin'.....
Perfect timing.. 2 Cracked bumpers I got to fix
👊
Took to plunge! Bought the Sagola! Can't wait. Got a fender job this weekend. Ty for all you do!
Awesome!
@@GarageNoise gun arrived! I thought I ordered the correct pps adapter, #12, but it's not correct. Do you know which pps adapter it uses?
Good Job Chris
👍
Chris another great video indeed Typical always happens new car not old then bang something hits the Bumper always.
What's funny is, and I didn't share this in the video but that bumper had already been painted 3 times Before the customer bought it!
@@GarageNoise Says it all indeed
I hope you show how to use U-POL #9. This stuff is awesome for the backyard guys.
Sure do I think I release that video wed or thurs
I also have that USC polyester finishing putty tube, I was going to use it on a plastic bumper cover like you are but it said on the technical data sheet for flexible plastics use USC PRO-FLEX 26037. what do you think? Not necessary?
If you have a large area to fill I'd use the flexible usc product. If your just doing a thin skim coat glaze or a light weight filler will work fine.
What reducer are you using or Any reducer work or dose it have to be the same brand
I don't really have a preference when it comes to reducer. Haven't noticed a big difference.
Another gain one
👍👊
icing is not flexable
No it's not
