From the moment the truck wouldn’t come out of the box “easily” you had a look of defeat and frustration lol but once the batteries went in the smile came back 😄 good review and a sweet little rig!
Great vid! Will be great if you make a rating video of the 4 ones. Really like the AAA on the kyosho makes it easier for the kids to use it alone. But the price for the traxxas is great but it's bigger so the scx24 is more in line maby. Hard to choose if you only have to pick one.
I like the Kyosho Jeep. You can get many upgrades for it from Kyosho. You can get a metal front axle. You can get LEDs for it. You can even get metal shocks. I think the Kyosho is better fro trailing over crawling. Thoughts?
Among the mini RC cars, the scx24 and mini-z are truly the best. However, it is unfortunate that the Korean exchange rate has risen a lot these days, making it possible to purchase at a slightly higher price. Merry Christmas😄💕👍👍👍
This one is a class act, once you go brushless and lipo. My favorite is the Jimny with a silly amount of tungsten up front and a bunch of well worked out mods. She almost keeps up with her SCX24 sisters. 👍
Shaf- Did u change the stock servo to handle the brass? I put some brass on and went with some different tires and it couldn’t turn the tires with the stock servo very well
@VetteWay2Fast I did a furitek conversion and got their servo too. Not much is left from the original setup. I have all my electronics up front along with the battery. It's the only way to get my balance right.
Francis I’d like to see a trx4m ultimate performance build out of you! Just go balls out trying to make it as viable as possible with the trx platform, that said I think traxxas brass hopups feel like they’re…. A little light? I think you’d be better off with third party brass parts for maximum potential
I hope Kyosho comes with a new version of these mini z with lipo's and more interchangeable 1/24 standard stuff. I've been in love with these awesome looking little rigs, but never bought one.
Have one and the proprietary servo/esc connection is my biggest pet peave with it. The stock servo is so weak and it’s not a plug and play switch/upgrade and that’s why it stays on my shelf. Can’t run bigger tires and it barely turns the stock tiny ones lol
Yea kinda of a bummer as the model is very scale looking. You can get hex adaptors to run standard hex 1.0 beadlocks on it, but like I mentioned, the stock servo can’t handle the bigger tires and weight. I looked into replacing the servo on the fb pages but there was soldering required and possibly switching out all the electronics and I said heck with it.
@VetteWay2Fast I put a set Element RC Enduro24 Sendero wheels and tires on because they are a bit smaller and it's not bad but still not great. Crawlerballer channel has a video on it
If you said 199$ that’s way too much for it. What makes it so expensive. Traxxas is going to make a ton of money of the M simply because it’s 150$ & performs well with tons of upgrades your just not going to beat that combo.
The kill show mini Z's look so good but there's something about having to use duracells or energizers LOL that makes me not want to get one of those. Traxxas can take my money all day. In my opinion
Mother Trucker lol.... made me laugh. Love your videos buddy. Quick question. I have both of the earlier KyoshonJeep Rubicons and the Toyota 4Runners. This seems to be more powerful and more turning strength. Is it any different or the same as the others. Love the added scale roof rack, tires, new wheels, and you made it look fast. Let me know me buddy. Thanks
Wow that’s one of the longest unboxing I’ve ever seen. Super annoying! But the actual RC looks good. I like the Green color I’m thinking it’s not a good crawler just a basic mini trail RC.
I've been meaning to expand into rc4wd and kyosho for my 1/24s, definitely getting a kyosho first now
There you go. Such great detail!
From the moment the truck wouldn’t come out of the box “easily” you had a look of defeat and frustration lol but once the batteries went in the smile came back 😄 good review and a sweet little rig!
I was defeated for sure. Came back from the depths with a smile. :)
The Kyosho Mini Z lineup across all vehicles is AWESOME!
Scale and realism is what they do best!
It's a great looking crawler and I enjoyed your review. It seem to perform well. But, the best part of the video was the pro driver.
I have 3 of them I got almost 2yrs ago now. I definitely want this one too. Would look awesome on the trail 👍
I'm thinking of getting one. How much runtime does it get using triple A's? Thanks.
@@johnlujan8706 I've ran them for up to an hour a few times before I noticed they were dying..I think it all depends on how and where you drive them
@@Drivingdrew719 Thanks

I have the defender. Love it

That is super interesting!!!!

I like the 4Runner and I'll get one if they ever get back in stock
They’re around. I just found one sitting in a hobby shop collecting dust about an hour away from me. Quicksand color and everything.

oh it's gonna happen for sure!
Nice review!! When you do the shoot out, please include a Panda hobby Tetra and the Dominator 4wd/ws.
Nice review,i went with the Hilux Surf though (quicksand).Problem is because it looks so good i tend to baby it to much.
Fair enough! Every detail on that body is sweet!!!

U no you can buy aaa life bat its the same
@@rhealgagnon1460 I looked it up, but couldn't find anything regarding aaa life batteries. Can you elaborate?
Never gonna happen. Kyosho isn’t playing the American “RC” game. And I appreciate that.
About how much grease in the shocks? Just a dab or so?
The battery tray cover broke on mine 10 seconds out of the box other than that it's ok.

Hi Sir love watching your videos. Keep it and up and stay safe 😍 btw sir are you a Filipino?
Definitely po.
What part number are the wheels and tires?
And what is the Kyosho Terain ?
Could you tell me the size in mm of the green jeep tires?
yeah I like to see a shootout be kind of cool.
What is the wheel diameter? I can't find it anywhere, and want to know if there are any good tire options out there.
Looks awesome.. I got the desert storm Toyota
Lucky!

Looking forward for wpl c24 Sir 😁 🇵🇭
I tried it and didn't like it. Good for a budget though. Some good upgrade potential.
Lol zip ties!
-Kyosho...hold my beer
24th scale is perfect for indoor crawling . I prefer 10th scale outdoors so I'll pass on the 18s .
I'm the same however, I'm loving the 1/18 scale Capra more than I thought I would. I would say it's truly closer to 1/14 scale though.
I was pretty impressed at what this could do on a tabletop.
With the Traxxas at $150 it’s hard to compare anything else.
£200 in the uk, its a rip off for us
@@BeatSaberNoob If all the vehicles in the UK are overpriced then isn't the Traxxas still a bargain?
Until you add the overpriced aftermarket parts it needs to match the other $150 crawlers.
Traxxas is changing the game in pricing. International pricing is poor at best.
@@jerryvolpini7987 no, the Scx24 is £124 it's alot cheaper, and you can build Ur own comp one for under £200 the trx4M is a ripoff

$169 now
Why can't Kyosho get off their butts and make more Trail Kings. Always unavailable. I don't want the Blizzard. Come on Kyosho!
