30 plus yrs in the US! The journey has been a long one. When I left Kenya as a young 'un, I vowed never to return.Over the years, I have revisited that statement time & time again. Everything you've said is spot on Betty Az. My story has been one of adversities and trauma, enough to make one go "Postal". We thank the Lord for granting us strength, courage & the resilience to endure. I'm so ready to make my move back to Kenya. Only one thing holds me back, Kasongo. KASONGO MUST GO!!!
Am a kiuk n he is here to stay yeyee akae America my love for My President no body can convince me otherwise.I Truly Respect My Leaders.@@jessenopiyoadory8031
Hahaa unwere there even bfr he became a President u n him share nothing.Jijenge hatakujenga hata kidogo it's us to make the change not him otherwise he is here to stay with Ur name calling mmmm mko Na Trump wenu tuliza wewe.
You've missed the plot by a mile. I left when Kenya had a dictator in office & I ain't trying to go back with another one in office. Word has it that the latter is more ruthless than the former. Kenya made strides under Kibaki & Uhuru. The country has regressed under Kasongo. Kasongo can plan all he wants, but ultimately, God has the finality!!! Meanwhile, temperatures have dipped & snowfall is imminent. I had to throw that in just because, lol
Betty, what I would say is that the grass looks greener on the other side. There are pros and cons of every place. For example I bet in the US you have better education for your kids than in Kenya and opportunities for them after school. We have so many frustrated graduates here who competing to do businesses with people who never went beyond primary school.
That's true. America has great opportunities, and that's why we are here. And I always tell my people, when you get a chance, come. Come work, make dollars, and then retire in Africa. I hope you understand my point
Happy New Year dear Betty 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤! I lived in Stato in the 90’s. Those days America was a land of opportunity; you could get many jobs & make loads of money. I bought many plots in Kenya with my hard-earned cash, & then I left Stato. Then 9/11 happened, which began Stato’s economic downward spiral, which unfortunately continues to this day 😢. Unemployment & inflation increased rapidly, and the trend is still on. The American Dream now only exists in your sleep. But if you’re hardworking & emotionally strong, na hauchagui kazi, you’ll be just fine 🌟
i live in america 25 years i want to go back to india, i m packing my back life is about happiness in this country emotionally doesnot keeping me in balance, people, thinking, neighborhood, all doesnot suit me, africa, india, asia, we are big family culture and real happiness is in oneness, nothing feels like home
I am one of those people who is less than a year old in America and regretting why I moved here. I have also seen all those videos of Americans who are leaving this country. I have noticed the whites are moving to Asia and Europe and black Americans are moving to Africa. And that just cements my feelings about this country and I ask myself if it’s that great here why are the locals leaving? For someone who did not leave my home country necessarily because I was broke or didn’t have opportunities there but moved for love, it’s really hard for me to grasp how things work here or who really sold us this fallacy that this is the land of milk and honey oh wait I think it is but they forget to tell you that you are the cow and the bee🙈😁😂. I miss my life in Kenya it was richer and I didn’t even make as much money as I am making here but well I am trying to just hang in there as I wait to get to that level when I suck it up like everyone else here does😁😂

Many Kenyans are willing to come to America no matter what myself I can't tell Kenyans about America. They say it's better to cry on range rover than on motorcycle.
Each country has its own challenges. You only exchange one challenge with another when you move. For example re-locating to a developing country expect to deal with developing country problems in exchange for the loneliness and bad weather in a developed country
Am from Tz,I have my own house very beautiful one,and a very big vergitable garden,I eat fresh foods,am employed lkn mshahara wangu natumia kidgo maana ninaweza kupata pesa kutoka kwa bustani yangu.Naweza ku save pesa nyingi mno
I think America is good for the opportunities, having watched Auston who relocated to Kenya with his friends and helping others to do so, I would say Kenya is a very good country to settle and especially if one has money. I would go for the opportunity and come back settle 😅😂
The future about Africa is not about aping the West but being unique and simplicity in life itself. The future of the world is in the simplicity that Africa offers
they are failing to also stay in Africa. Some just stay a year then make excuses and move to dubai or Mauritius permanently which is more an Indian island than African, though it's in African waters
Quite insightful Betty, not only you, I've seen many RUclips videos of African immigrants from different Africa countries in their 40s and above dismantle the American/European dream fallacy
Lived here in U.S for 21 years now but i can tell that this is not a good place to live and achieve happiness. Insecurities, working many hours to make ends meet, loan traps, gradual bills that need to be paid, routine life, crazy coldness in the northern part, racism in the so called republican places, etc…. Bonus: Unhealthy foods (bad foods)
I've never been to America and I can even tell it's not a good place. I entered the greencard but only for the money. Africa is corrupt and all that but still the best place to live.

Hey Betty, Happy new year! Gal, u have stamina u have held on. Rooting for you! Can we make a date to interview each other? Please let me know.
Thank you for the support. I appreciate it
Anyone who still looks down on Africa is up for a rude shock. Africa is the future and the future is Africa. Me I love my motherland
We hope it's the future for Africans and not the future for Westerners
The future about Africa is not about aping the West but being unique and simplicity in life itself. The future of the world is in the simplicity that Africa offers
Hii Betty!mimi ni mTz,life in Africa is really enjoyable.
My goodness
All the struggle with USCIS,NVC, waiting for years at the Nairobi embassy 😢

I renewed my passport last year to exit hopefully this year. According to the Lord, civil war is on the horizon. So get your passport ready!
Even passport bros are exploring Africa. They have found love deep in the villages and swore never to return to America.
It's a robotic life Betty.
60 70 no .Betty we got you

Stop discouraging pipo to coe to US, let them come and experience life over thea.
Haha so you had time to comment and not watch the video 😅 isorait
America has become extremely expensive. People can’t afford to have children, buy a house, go to college etc., The cost will keep going up.
Just invest here in kenya pls bring that dollars here.
The American dream is real when you are asleep 😁😂
I moved from Texas to Nairobi. No regrets.
point of correction most african countries
The new American dream is to leave America, it's not worthy to be living in America anymore 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂nice one
