Love the music, video editing style and the whole windshield replacement process!! Don't understand why it has less than 200 views!!

Literally first week in auto glass at a local company for me, I come from a commercial glass background for 4 years and I thought I would have no issue adjusting but dang it is a lot different lol, I also never had much “car” experience before this so alot of it is new but so far I love it.

Geez why does this look so simple? Hopefully I can pull this off on my own. Need to replace this for my Honda civic… can’t pass inspection without doing so. Wish me luck 😂 I’m going to need it

Hello, my car is the same as that car, and the glass has also been replaced, but now after a while, the rubber on the top position is curved, and it's hard to stick to the body, maybe because it's sunburned or somehow, the question is whether maybe rubber was it replaced without having to remove the glass? or is there a trick to get the rubber back tightly to the body as before, I hope you understand what I mean, because I'm not fluent in English, and I hope you are willing to answer my question..

the rubber strip that goes along the top of the windshield is called a moulding. It’s actually completely cosmetic to your windshield so you don’t have to worry about leaks or anything. Even if it was gone completely your windshield should stay sealed. As far as fixing it goes I recommend stopping by any auto glass shop near you and see if they can glue it back in. Most shops wouldn’t charge you for that and if they do it shouldn’t be much. There really is no trick other than glueing it down or if it’s really bothering you just remove it completely. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

@@miketheglassguy7568 Oh okay I understand, I thought the molding is sealed between the glass and the body so to open or repair it, it is necessary to open the glass and reseal the glass again, but luckily it's not... thank you, have a nice day.

Great video. I have a 2004 Civic and just noticed a 5 or 6 inch section of that long plastic piece along the bottom edge of the windshield has separated from the glass, maybe 1/8". What would be the best way to fix it?

Would of been nice to have you label the steps you were doing. I am replacing my windshield that shattered from hood breaking through both safety latches. I've just finished getting old windshield out & properly fixing dent in hood & removing old urethane. Now I just need to put new window in. I need to primer the car & lay urethane down & set windshield in place. I did this all on my own on a 2005 Honda Civic Coupe. It's not fucking easy by any means.
