    The hyanka is a decent starter subwoofer and amps for people who are on a budget. The amps performance is awsome just like the subwoofers. The subs from what ive seen need to break in burn extra glue off and they sound great. Spl im not sure but for sq its good. I run the vxf 12s myself. Great video guys

      I have the 10, 12, and 15. They're all really impressive sub's for the price. I have an X-10 or I run a couple ZVX12, or a couple Rockford I Fosgate T2-12's. Caleb just went all SQ and went with some JL Audio W3 sub's. I switch up all the time. Just like the music bass change's also. I did notice the glue smell, I ran the 12 for a couple weeks but she just beats harder. Thanks for your comment 😊

      At first powering yes. I'm not sure you watched the whole video but I got the RMS and the Max on the first time giving it power which is very good. I did a few short's on this also and it was more consistent after breaking it in a little bit in my van. I'm sure if I played it for a month I could bring it and test it again and it would do a little better again. Thanks for your comment 😊

    • @SubzPawz

      So it looks like you will get the 2 ohm load around 700 watts, give or take each way. It should make some noise on that. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comment 😊

      @@SubzPawz it hits pretty good. Big d wiz did a dyno test on a jp95t amp @1 ohm it does 1.100 rms so its and the hyanka i bought its a dual 2 ohm so the sub is at 1ohm. I did had a american bass elite 1200 rms but the sub was a dual 4 ohm so final ohm load was a 2 ohm and was getting around 800 rms from the jp95 amp underpowering the american bass by 400 rms.

      @@rhurtadorh32 this is the reason I started making my videos. My HYanka 15 is wired to 1 ohm also. It doesn't run at 1 ohm though. So the power you're actually getting is closer to the 2 ohm load and up. He runs a static load, no subwoofer runs on a static load. Watch the video again and see where you're sub is actually running.

    Here is an interesting thing I experienced. I'm setting gains with a multimeter as well as crossovers. With my amp set to 1500 watts at 1 ohm, I noticed the voltage dropped when setting the crossover. It did OK but seemed to lack out put and the amp showed clipping at my max set volume with the crossover set a little high around 110 hertz. I decided to close the crossover to around 70 hertz which seemed to drop output but also stopped the clipping. I was setting gains at -3 db with sonic 50 hertz tone on yt. So I tried setting the gain at 1800 watts , with the same tone, and closed the crossover to 70. Now it gets way louder and keeps better voltage without clipping. I fine tune with my bass know which also has the clip light. I am running a nvx loc with a signal clip light and have my rca volts set to 2v. I have been messing with it for months and assumed I was clipping due to power restrictions and never expected that lowering the crossover would allow me to boost my overall output

    • @SubzPawz
      @SubzPawz  Год назад +2

      I'm thinking this may have something to do with the LOC. I just sold a sub to someone that had one installed in his BMW. He has all sorts of issues and my guess with his was the line out converter. I've never used one myself, always done a full deck install. That's odd though, maybe something common. I wish you were local, I'd Meetup and do a video on all my socials and see what everyone says.

    • @TOLDyouSOagain
      @TOLDyouSOagain Год назад +1

      Another theory I have is that lowering the cross over may help me keep impedance rise down and not overdrive the amp as easy? I really don't know why I can get louder. A sweep from 25 to 150 shows 35 to 40 is the loudest, I'm tuned at 39 or close to it and a decent roll off starting around 65 hertz. My subsonic is set to 33 but I'm running a loc from the factory amp subwoofer output. I tried to tap before the amp but it didn't sound right and voltage was low input but was like .5 volts. That's why I was setting the crossover around 110 to start with. Integrating a system into a factory setup is a nightmare. My radio runs my oil level reading, central locking, daytime running lights and windshield wiper installation mode. AUDI lol

    Hey, I got a good question for you since I know you messed around with the seismic audio subs before. I currently have 3 GFC-122 subs on a smart3B amp. (after reinforcing the spiders to the coil with some E 6000 they pound!)and sounds good from 26hz to 46hz although I prefer the lows. I just ordered 4 Hyanka 15/4 how do you think they will measure up compared to the seismic audio?

    • @SubzPawz
      @SubzPawz  10 месяцев назад +1

      Just tune them and ease up on your gains and bass. My only gripe about the HYanka is the 2.5 inch coil. As long as you're gains are set correctly you'll be fine and I think you're going to be pleasantly happy. Enjoy. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comment 😊

      I don't ever like to knock down a subwoofer or a company that made the subwoofer. I bought the evl a few year's back thinking it was the answer I was looking for. For me it was more hype than what I expected to hear. For everything it has and the look it has I expected much more and was left wanting more for my money. Now the HYanka on the other hand is half the price and IMO a better sound and a better subwoofer in general. I now own all 3 of the subs they make and each one impressed me.
