I have a discount code for Slapz Audio too. It's a great sub and weighs a portion of what most sub's in that class weigh. I will do a short today and get the 140. @Subs&Paws- That is in a bigger vehicle= your van= a lot of airspace to pressurize= very impressive! If you put that in your sons trunk vehicle, it would be louder. If @ all possible, would you consider trying to see the Db difference, & test this sub & ported box in your sons vehicle? Then maybe ask your subscribers to make a guess @ the Db score, & do a giveaway to the closest guess. Like, make a short video, talking about the vehicle swap, & use the same 2k amp, then have everyone make their guess. 1st to type the right Db, to the tenth, wins. Then release the actual Db swap test, the next day, or 2 days later. That would be Awesome!
Yes. Exactly. I don't think people realize how hard it is for me to get a 140 in the van. I have no sound proofing or anything like that. Just my van and the equipment. I'm going to do a short today and get the 140. I thought I was recording yesterday and was banging away and noticed I wasn't recording. @@SubzPawz - Have you found your peak freq., with this enclosure, in your van, yet? So that you can either use a song with that peak freq., or a test tone. Best of luck.
I did get a 140 exactly a few times but I didn't realize I wasn't recording, LoL. This was after playing for about 20 minutes and the sub was getting warm from all the banging on it constantly. I'm going to do a short today and get the 140 on camera. Thanks for your comment 😊
