Great video Sedge, If I use the MFS with a 30mm bush and 10mm cutter, what size would I need to cut a circle if I wanted to use as a pattern template using the 30mm bush and 10mm cutter to make repetitive 80mm circle please.
@@sedgetool i don’t believe it is but I think I have found an answer, the circle size has to be 120mm, then I can use the math in the video to set the MFS to the correct size to obtain pattern template of 80mm
Love the video's Sedge. A quick question, what is the smallest diameter circle you can cut with this system. I ask as I had to cut a 64mm diameter circle for a project and had to make a small trammel that I stuck on to the bottom of my OFS1400 with double sided tape. Worked a treat but would love to know if this system will go that small?
That is a great little jig. I was unable to locate it on Festool USA site though, searching MFS showed me a sheet metal slide. Big D has excellent taste in music by the way
Good to see you D, T and I are planning on another Hartville trip hope to see you there
Can't wait!
The MFS it’s the perfect jig for holes and circle, also I like domino tip to set the depth. Thank you brother for sharing this video!!
Right on
Well done guys.
Many Thanks Warren !!!

I “grease” my MFS rails with paraffin or candle wax. Makes the sliding super smooth but doesn’t interfere with clamping actions.
cool

why is the mfs discontinued ??
I really do not know..I believe it is still available in Europe
Perhaps you should mention in the title this is for Festool tools.
ok
And mention you can't even by one in NA.
Always love the videos but why show us something cool we can't even buy? Something that is no longer available. Really bummed.
It is still available worldwide ...just not here in North America....
@@sedgetool is it possible you tell me where it's available to buy
I was wondering what had happened to Big D.
👍
Yes but we can’t get that tool…..
Available world wide except North America
@@sedgetool but who will ship it to us here?
@@JhurshI went looking for it and retailers can't even ship it to the United States. Disappointing.
Thought that looked like a useful tool - check and it's not available 🤨
It is available in Europe Mike......
Why is this not available in the States? Complete BS and it makes me want to sell my OF 2200.
OK
Watched video. Decided I could really use that. Looked on FestoolUSA. Nothing found. Reading comments. Not available in NA. Bah!
Sorry ......
@@sedgetool When will it be available?
