I always feel bad for “stars” who have basically one or two main hits (that are actually sad, like this song) - and have to live their _entire lives_ resinging, reliving that mistake…that sadness 💔 What a double edged sword 😔
This is why having people close you family, friends partner are so important. Artist have a hard time know how much their music impacts people because their not there apart of everyone's lives, but you can see your positive impacts on people you do see often and of course those people are reciprocate what you give to them.
She kinda inspired a lot of us, Even without being Japanese speakers the song basically impacted a lot of us, Me and my sister cried about how deep the song is, my sister is 7 but she understands the song the way I explain it to her, so naturally this is our favorite song other than Bling Baam Baam Boom.
God...I have such goosebumps. Stay with me is one of the best songs I ever heard. Even my older brother that never was this emotional told me "You've should knew, how emotional this song is. It makes me quiet emotional" when I found out about her death made stay at my room and don't come out for few days. Rest and Peace Miki.
She was so talented and sweet. I wish that she knew just how wonderful and truly appreciated her work was. I hope that she was able to find some peace and comfort
This is a great way to remind people to try not to have regrets. Do the best you can with the information you have at the time and know that going forward you made the best decisions you could.
Sometimes you just never know who in the future will recognize a person’s work. The world is still listening to Mozart after more than 200 years (not 300 years).
I don't think she made an impact on the music industry other than in japan. Only thing that actually gotten her popular was through tiktok shorts or covers during the plastic love / citypop hype.
Truly, her life is a literal story of all emotions. A girl who wanted to live her dreams and did but she didn’t regret her career all together . yes, she did regret touring as much because was sick while doing so and didn’t know it turned out to be cancer later on that was untreatable. That’s when she regretted most of her career wishing she did spend time with her husband, family and friends more and sadly resorted in her death later on, that’s why you really didn’t see or hear her in the 90s because that’s what she primarily doing. But she admitted to not wanting to do anything else but wanting to be a singer she was drawn to japans night life in the 80s.
The sad part is she did have a impact on the world through anime and I hope there is a afterlife so if there is a good place I can tell her the pepole she's touched with her songs after her life
Thank you for making a video about her. She is my #1 favorite artist of all time. Rest in Peace Miki-san. Your amazing music definitely had an impact on the world, whether you believe it or not.
You can see in her eyes that she just wants to be with her loved ones. That glimmer of hope in her eyes-hope that one day she’ll be able to go back to her normal life
this is the truth- there is a spiritual war that influences the physical world. The people in power in power worship an entity named lucifer. That name is only found in The Bible and satan tried to tempt Jesus Christ with all the kingdoms of the world if He bowed down and worshipped him. Jesus did not but the people with the most influence- celebrities, politicians, billionaires, etc- they have. The first description of satan in The Bible is that he is subtle- and in the world the media subtly leads people away from the truth. The only religious figure that these people are against is Jesus Christ. Do not be turned away by the name of Jesus- this is the truth and the video proves it beyond any amount of doubt. I know the video is long but look at the comments from the people that watched the video if you want to know it’s credibility. This satanic group is what people call the illuminati. this video im linking below proves this ruclips.net/video/gbUK4cFCTPg/видео.html

Most of the songs she sang had a very positive message and just were full of loving emotions, but she passed away in 2001 also due to cancer. If you understand Japanese, the lyrics hit a lot harder, but if you translate them, you can see the love she left the world with. Her sound even caught the attention Stevie Wonder, and he helped her out with her growth.
I hope Miki was able to find peace in heaven. Even though she will never know how much she has contributed to the music industry in Japan, and how many people she has helped with her work, she will still remain a bright ray in the hearts of her devoted listeners. We must not forget the masterpiece that she has repeatedly created with her own hands and voice. We have to remember what REAL MUSIC is. Fate played a cruel joke on Miki, taking her life, but what fate could not take away was a piece of Miki herself, her music. No matter who you ask, "the voice of a musician that you will never forget," everyone will answer "Stay with me." And this is an unconditional victory. 💔 Miki would be happy..

Rest in peace Miss Matsubara. Her music was ahead of her time. Her legacy should be a reminder to not have any regrets and make the most of life bc that’s what she would have wanted. I hope she can see the impact her music and life is making on us from where she is now. 🕊️
She was so beautiful
I’m gawking at her as a 20 y/o in 2023.
Ah man I have so much respect for the artist, makes me want to cry. Some artistry is so tragic
Her eyes spark like the night sky 🌌… Her atmosphere is oh so beautiful and stunning, just like herself, shimmering like the brightest of stars ✨ I was born in October 2004, so perhaps this is a sign that she is one of those brightly shining stars every night and she‘s there on the days as well, watching over us with her guidance 🌠
chills man, just chills. what a beautiful soul, may she rest in peace
RIP Miki Matsubara. You had a really beautiful voice and an ear for music! I hope her family have been able to see how much love she has gotten over the years.
She was so gorgeous, and incredibly impactful to many.
People knowing this song even now can tell how much impact her song and voice has over us.
This short just reminded me life is too short to be depressed over past and what could had been. Hope she did live her last moments at least doing one of the things she wished she had done because was busy touring.
so true
Memento Mori my friend, Memento Mori
I always feel bad for “stars” who have basically one or two main hits (that are actually sad, like this song) - and have to live their _entire lives_ resinging, reliving that mistake…that sadness 💔
What a double edged sword 😔
Bro I needed to read this eye opener fr thanks ❤🙏
This is why having people close you family, friends partner are so important. Artist have a hard time know how much their music impacts people because their not there apart of everyone's lives, but you can see your positive impacts on people you do see often and of course those people are reciprocate what you give to them.
great point
damn
She kinda inspired a lot of us, Even without being Japanese speakers the song basically impacted a lot of us,
Me and my sister cried about how deep the song is, my sister is 7 but she understands the song the way I explain it to her, so naturally this is our favorite song other than Bling Baam Baam Boom.
“You likely heard this song” Fam thats my fucking jam right there.

Miki Matsubara's song was a wonderful impact
Miki Matsubara, I hope you know that you are very loved ❤
This is a great way to remind people to try not to have regrets. Do the best you can with the information you have at the time and know that going forward you made the best decisions you could.
Too late for now....
Regrets are important parts of life it helps teaching learning and growing. Regrets can be sad but they bring beauty...

She died the year i was born, now i listen to her angelic voice on that song, that is sweet of her to bring us this piece...

Stand proud, Miki... You're remembered. 🎚️
Her smile is so pure and beautiful
Sad to see that she never able to see how much impact she has. Plastic love and this are legendary!
Sometimes you just never know who in the future will recognize a person’s work. The world is still listening to Mozart after more than 200 years (not 300 years).
many legendary artists have passed without seeing the seeds they sew bloom
I don't think she made an impact on the music industry other than in japan. Only thing that actually gotten her popular was through tiktok shorts or covers during the plastic love / citypop hype.
I respect this lady I love her music she's a rare one for sure
This story is so sad! I listen to this song almost every day! It's so beautiful!

This and Plastic Love are probably the most famous Japanese popsongs.
Quite a fe popular ANRI songs aswell.
dont think so lol
Sukiyaki whether the original (60s) by Kyu Sakimoto(?) Or the remake in english (80s) by Taste of Honey
X japan music: are you kidding me?
Plastic love was actually one of the artists least popular songs in Japan.
She’s so pretty !! She def knows what her music brought to us now.
She was so heavenly
Sinu!
That makes me tear up even more hearing this song now. Thanks
The sad part is she did have a impact on the world through anime and I hope there is a afterlife so if there is a good place I can tell her the pepole she's touched with her songs after her life
I honestly just wish I could give her a hug. I entirely understand her feeling.
Her smile when she performed was and still is so precious, what a shining star she forever will be
THIS NEEDS A LONGER VERSION OMG
Thank you for making a video about her. She is my #1 favorite artist of all time.
Rest in Peace Miki-san.
Your amazing music definitely had an impact on the world, whether you believe it or not.
Fly high Miki Matsubara we all miss you🕊♥❤
So beautiful that song is. I speak zero Japanese.
I hope she knows that she did not die in vain….she had an extraordinary voice and immense talent ❤❤❤
She is a legend
My Japanese ex's mom would always sing this song. It's a really good song though boy let me tell ya.
She was lovely.
You can see in her eyes that she just wants to be with her loved ones. That glimmer of hope in her eyes-hope that one day she’ll be able to go back to her normal life
She was so gorgeous. I’m so sad she passed away. Her music was good to me 😢❤️
She didn't stay, but her impact did 😢❤
Music, Food, and Art
The Holy Trinity of bringing humanity together.
Some ban art and music and wonder why everyone hates them ...
this is the truth- there is a spiritual war that influences the physical world. This satanic group is what people call the illuminati.
this video im linking below proves this

So that's why I always feel like I want to cry everytime I hear this song, even tho I have never read its lyrics, know nothing about japanesse and neither about its background until now 🥹
Miki and Cindy both have gotta have the saddest stories, but the most beautiful gifts they left the world with.
Wait what about cindy?
@@Rick_the_OG_door_technician Cindy’s most popular song, Believe In Us, is about her son who passed away.
Who’s cindy 😂

What is wrong with you? I guess you know nothing about the world huh. Japanese people don't believe in God or heaven. They're either Shinto or Buddhist. I swear people are so ignorant. Why are you trying to push your ideology onto a country that doesn't want anything to do with it?
what did she do for God that she is in heaven? We do not know. So you can't just say she is in heaven but you can hope she is in heaven
Why are you pushing your religion on a people who do not believe in God and hope they are in Heaven. They don't believe in your god and want nothing to do with your religion. I don't see your way of thinking. When you die do you want Muslims to send you to Jahannam? I assume not because you want nothing to do with their religion. @@G4-sj1re

I completely understand her. Family is important.
There is something with Japanese people. They are build different. I’ve always felt a connection with their culture and way of thinking. Also it baffles me the amount of people dying from cancer. Several voice actresses that I love passed away from cancer as well. God bless these people ❤
