    I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this question. Billy mentioned that -겠어요 is not often used this way and it should be -겠습니다. However i was working on this grammar with my teacher and she corrected me because my whole paragraph was in the 요 form and she said that you cannot mix different levels of formality.

      @@GoBillyKorean 제가 6년에 일본어를 공부하고 있어요. 아직 안 잘 하지만 열심히 공부하겠습니다. JLPT 시험은 10월에 있어서 제가 시험이 준비하고 있어요. 그래서 날마다 일본어를 연습할 거예요. 제꿈을 포기하지 않겠습니다. The 겠습니다 (s) were changed to 요 form

      @@brittanymurray360 You wouldn't want to mix ~겠습니다 with the ~요 form since ~겠습니다 is formal and ~요 is informal. You could instead use various types of informal speech, or make the whole thing formal. ruclips.net/video/75WB63aoCZo/видео.html

    why is it not 제가 용희의 숙제를 도와주겠습니다 ? why two subject markers and no object marker?

      That's because the "topic" of the sentence is the homework. You could say it that way ("영희") but it would have a different nuance - "I am the one who will..." instead of what it is in the example.
