@@collenekennedy the learning phase is part of the fun!!! for me i think keeping my set up very simple to start has allowed it to feel easier and more sustainable (phone camera, a microphone, and super basic editing)! once I get the hang of creating YT content overall more i hope to expand and evolve my style, but i think these beginner days are just the time to get the basics down and make some mistakes along the way 😃 we're in it together!!

@@kate.cassidy I've met a lot of youtubers at expos. Rather than to say "I found my tribe" ... I've seen how other tribes support each other. If you watch enough outdoors youtubes, all the more successful ones are inter-related. Most youtubers are desperate to talk youtube with each other. It's a lonely game.

hey iMovie is so great!!! your channel and content looks super professional so you're clearly making it work well 🙌🚀it all comes down to finding the right processes that work for you :) i'm definitely still evolving - all a part of the process🌸
@ thank youuu!!
I am very early and I think probably three weeks maybe a little over three weeks into it. Thank you for the advice.
that's so EXCITING to be starting something new!!! we're all in this YT journey together ☀
You got a new subscriber 😊❤
oh my goodness thank youuu 🥰i'm going to keep sharing it all as i learn!! we're all in for such exciting journeys
I revived my channel if 17 years 6 weeks ago! I learnt a lot and really worked on my channel. Still working… thank you for the tips. New sub here 🎉
17 years - that's incredible!! i'm excited for the second life of your channel 🌄we're in it together!
@ thank you 🙏🏽
Need this as a small RUclipsr!!
glad it was helpful 😄we all should share more along the way!!! in it together :)
This was good, you’re doing wayyyyy better than me
noooo i'm not "doing better", we're all in this together 😊it's a fun journey - all about playing around with the process and seeing what works!! you got this 🍀
i am stuck with 7 sub not losing hope ...we will make it someday.. ..i liked how you explain tips and trick thanks sir keep the good videos comming..... i created channel long back 2017 i was really busy that time ......I had some videoes back then i deleted them and started fresh with different niche ...
My situation is mor sad than your’s😢. I have 6 subs. But I’m optimistic. With such helpful tips from Kate, my work will someday be rewarded 🙏🏻 Never stop learning!
look at that you're already growing since this comment!!🌱we're in it together here :) i feel the consistency and determination will all pay off in the end! excited to see where your fresh start leads!!
@@LiveYourLife_Vlogs "Never stop learning" is the perfect motto here 🙂i'm just trying to think about it as a fun journey!! i'm going to make more mistakes *for sure*, we're all incrementally getting better through trial-and-error ☀
@@LiveYourLife_Vlogs.very nice RUclips is my business
Great information. I just started posting two weeks ago. New sub here! I’d love to follow your journey 🎉
oh my gosh two weeks in and you're crushing it already!!! you got this 🙌
@ Thank you! It’s fun to say the least. RUclips is my way to chronicle and smell the roses if you will 😁
@@lasuretv SO fun!!! i think viewing it as a fun journey and process is the only way to do it :) keeps it light and not discouraging if some things we try out don't stick early on hahaha
I started a new RUclips Channel and I’m grateful. it was due to a 10 day challenge that’s on RUclips from one of the YT content creators that I view.
Me too. I am 7 videos done. Mine are no edit videos done on the app. Going to graduate to my computer. That's how little I know.
oooo this sounds like a good challenge!!! sometimes it just takes that extra motivation to get going! excited to see where it goes 🤩

@@kate.cassidy thank you I appreciate the support. I’m gonna be putting out another video in a little while. I’m still working on it.
Very helpful tips. Newbie here! ❤
so excited for all of us as we start our journeys 🤩so much good stuff ahead
I'm still early with channel (I create women humor cards) & this is great!! One question - for your picture in a picture narration, did u do the talking with a live screen? I use clip champ & trying to incorporate in my vids!
oooo i'm glad you liked it!! i haven't used clip champ and admittedly don't know what a live screen is 😅i've been screen-recording on my computer and then use Descript or Davinci Resolve to layer them together after 😊i showed how to do it in Descript in this video - ruclips.net/video/ON-HNJ0nPY4/видео.html
you have to time the screen recording properly to your talking when layering it after but from there it's easy :)
@@kate.cassidy You are such a doll for answering! You "got:" my question! It's all pretty new to me ...but just today, I spent forever setting up and recording elements for a video ... and in the end, I hate it and will start all over! Oye! Learning curves!
Good information. Another sub for you.
thank you Fred 😊 i'm glad you found it useful!!
You should ask, around the 4 min mark (Halfway Point) for people to subscribe!
that is such a good tip.... i definitely haven't really been doing that yet! i don't feel much pressure to "grow fast" or anything but it's something I should play around with :) a mini channel pitch!
@@kate.cassidy Yeah i feel awkward asking but from all my research says to give the audience great material and then after you've given them a good reason to subscribe (The quality material) ask. Maybe you can point to your subscribe watermark... and maybe post a smiley face emoji or something like that. I mean do what you want haha and best of luck and keep plugging away!
@@OneMansOpinionOnSports this is SO insightful!!! thank you for sharing your research :D i'm going to give it a shot 😎
Great Video
thank you steven :) i’m glad you enjoyed!!
I am micro youtuber with just 6 subscribers in 3 months 😅 Not sure if my niche of silent vloggers is oversaturated, but I gave myself a year before I'll become discouraged.
definitely don't let yourself get discouraged!!! since we're just beginning this is the perfect opportunity for us to play around with things and have fun with it to see what sticks :D keep on it - i'm sure you'll find your rhythm!!
I’m a baby wanabe RUclipsr here ,Awesome thank you for information
you're not a wannabe, you're already out here doing it!! love the Bali series 💙us baby RUclipsrs are in it together!!

Great video, I also just started creating content for ethical hacking and feel like I'm constantly updating, maybe to much lol 🤣
Chris you're popping OFF for having just started - congratulations!!! i think that this early phase is when we really can have fun with the process and constantly update to see what feels right and sticks 😎it's a journey and so exciting to learn along the way!!
@@kate.cassidy Appreciate it, yeah for sure, I'm testing different posting times right now that goes against the heat map a little bit to see how it goes. Overall just having fun testing around.
She's pretty😂
Congratulations on your channel thank you so much for the information my channel the book of common point is doing great I'm following all your tips I really appreciate it John tenuto
thank you very much John :) I definitely will be making some more content on my reflections of this early youtube journey soon!! it's so fun feeling like we're all in this together!!
one more... you need to find yourself a "youtube tribe" ... I'm starting to find that having fellow youtubers that I can talk to makes it easier. And by easier, I mean to keep going. It's nice to have somebody in your camp that has gone through what you are with your videos. Good luck.
oooo this is a good tip i've never heard!!! "youtube tribe" i like that 😄did you find yours with fellow youtubers friends online or do you have other friends into content creation?
@@kate.cassidy I've met a lot of youtubers at expos. Rather than to say "I found my tribe" ... I've seen how other tribes support each other. If you watch enough outdoors youtubes, all the more successful ones are inter-related. Most youtubers are desperate to talk youtube with each other. It's a lonely game.
New youtubers gather here lets grow for real 💪
we're all in this together 🤩helping each other out along the way!!
Wow wondeeful i just subscribed to your chanel
yay i'm glad you found something helpful - we're all in it together!!
@kate.cassidy Thanks Kate do you have instagram?
Hey there new RUclipsr myself - one piece of advice is to use AT LEAST 3 hashtags in your DESCRIPTION (not title) the way I do mine I took it from another creator who gave great tips 🥳. It helps people your content based on those common themes.
wow thank you for the advice❣!!! I still have SO much more to learn and so many mistakes to make. it feels great to have creators like you share who are further along in your journey (congratulations on 1000 subscribers BTW!!! amazing!!)🌟
@ thank you!! I am still learning myself! It is nice to sit back and see each other grow 🩷🙌🏾 keep going.
Small creators lets connect ♥️
this comment section feels like such a wonderful team of fellow small creators 🙌
Shout out to all my fellow new RUclipsrs…. 👏🏻 it’s a long journey but with passion and patience anything is possible. ❤
yesss i love how this comment section has become a space for all us newbie RUclipsrs to come together 😄good to have a supportive community and we're all in the same boat!
Matt Rife does not outsource his editing... So, what does that tell you???
MyND GAMES - is my RUclips Channel… Sunday, November 10, will be my 9th day!!
I am wayyyyy too much of a control freak to allow someone else to edit my videos. Shooooo 😮💨
I realized that about myself now too 😅 but your editing style is soooo much cooler than mine!! your day-in-the-life video is so impressive with all the sound and fast cuts! would be hard for an editor to replicate your creative taste
@@kate.cassidyyou watched my video? 🥹 thaaaanks. Thank you for the feedback! ❤ glad we can agree we don’t *need* editors!
Hey Kate, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
G'day from Australia 🇦🇺. Great information and video 📹 👍 👌 I'm a new youtube channel still finding my feet.
