- A simple example of no penetration contact simulation in SolidWorks.
The No Penetration contacts are defined using the Contact Set command. This results in the automatic creation of gap elements on the contacting faces in order to monitor whether parts separate or remain in contact. - Наука
Your video saved my life, thank you!
Save my life. Nice tutorial. Thanks a lot!
very well explained......thanks a lot!
Although this video is not related to underconstrained bodies but this video helped me to solve problem I was facing from last one week i.e underconstrained bodies (y)
Thank you so much
Thanks. excellent. To check interference before run and understand contact sets.
perfect
How is the shaft constrained axially?
One thing I don't understand: don't you have to switch off the "Global Contact" after defining the contact set?
And if you apply an axial load on the frictionless (contacts) axle - would'nt it be pushed out of the bearing, causing solidworks to complain about a too big movement...?
what if you have interferences? what do you do?
Would you get similar results if you simply change the defaulted Global Contact "bonded" to "no penetration"? It would save a couple steps here I believe.
Can you use no penetration feature if you're just in an assembly and not running a simulation study?
can you please tell me difference in contact set and component contact in simulation.
Can you send me a file for practice
sir why u skip the Connection where is it use .......??
