How do I properly simmulate two connected threaded parts where both male and female parts are important in the analisys? I tried running a 3d static study using extruded threads modeled with the swept boss and cut features with helix path and ISO metric screw thread profile and no penetration connection between parts. This study resulted in poor meshing and points of high stress that indicate failure. I also tried axisymmetric 2d study with no penetration as well and it worked fine with FOS just a bit smaller than expected in project, but a understant that this study is not very accurate.
Now i am trying to remove the extruded threads and work only with smoth surfaces, therefore i need to change the study connections between part for the simmulation to work. I understand that bolt conectors would work fine for the female parts, but i dont understand how to set a simmilar connection for the male threaded part. Can anyone help me with that?
My simmulation is a pressure study of a aquatubular boiler casing with flat threaded heads as male parts, for a academic project.

how to sync two circle example:-
one circle dia75mm and secound circle dia1000mm
    dia1000mm (1000mm-100mm=900mm) so change
    dia 75mm change (75mm+100=175mm)
mins i one circle dia minuse so secound dia pluse is value
    how create

    Thanks for video.
How to automatically(in solidworks) calculate stresses in the bolts?
For example in ansys or creo simulate such a possibility.

To calculate the stresses on a bolt the real bolt geometry is needed, i.e. the CAD part of the bolt, which leads in a highly complex simulation.
If the bolt connector is used, as described in the video, no stresses are calculated for the bolt, since a virtual model is used in the analysis.
However, a pass or fail criterion is established internally by the software and it informs you whether your bolt connector is strong enough to withstand the external loads (axial, shear, bending).
