Love this !!!! Great job Devereaux! Although there was a comment about people being more interested in players blocking etc...you do have a nasty blocking ability !!!

I love the fact that you have addressed this matter. Women and men are physiologically built differently and only ignorant people would want to see women display the same athletic capabilities as men. Made respect to all female athletes holding it down despite the trash talking they receive. Glad I stumbled on your content cz I'm writing a paper on the same issue, femininity and sports performance. Keep doing what you are doing, I'm a huge wnba fun from Kenya..

The NBA has always "pissed" me off due to lack of MANY missed necessary whistles being blown by the "refs" IE:(not actually "taking out" the ball, after made baskets and traveling before dribbling).

what mystifies me is how so many people are so into women's tennis, but not women's basketball.

But that took time in tennis. It was way back in the early 70s when Billie Jean King and other women pro players basically revolted against the tennis establishment because of blatant discrimination and sexism. They fought a lot of the same misconceptions and just plain ole misogynistic cliches that we hear now directed at basketball. Women's basketball can get there too but it will simply take time.

Paul Coltrin that's really my point, women's tennis has already broken that ground, so the WNBA shouldn't have to do that all over again.
