The difference is especially noticeable between Ivan’s and Sua’s parts, which just shows the difference in their dynamics with Till and Mizi. I think that's why I'm such an Ivan Stan and why his songs are so popular. His VA really gives the yearning pain of completely falling for something you can't have. Instead of moving on, he keeps loving anyway cause it's all he has. Ivantill’s anguish is loud, while MiziSua’s is quieter and almost muffled if that makes sense. I love both deeply, but I found the mixture of Rubyeye’s and C!naH’s heavenly vocals making it almost seem as if they’re being engulfed in their own misery and how well everything from the characters and lyrics meshed together make me love this song even more than I previously had.
I love how in the original around 3:30 Ivan and Till’s voices are kind of over lapping, taking turns singing the same lyrics only Ivan’s singing for Till and Till’s singing for Mizi. But in this version Sua and Mizi are on the same wavelength (also reminds me of the theory that in My Clematis they were trying to sing at the same time in hopes of tying). That or I’m delusional (which is quite possible).

I noticed at the end that when they have their duet, the first half mizi sings alone. Just like in ivantill Cure theyre switching between Mizi and Sua being the main vocals and the supporting vocals. When Mizi is being the main vocal she sings alone since Sua is dead so she isnt here to support her but then Sua is the main vocal and they sing together because Mizi will always support Sua, even if shes dead.

Other commentors have mentioned it as well, but I love how heartbreakingly fond yet eerie their voices are. Their love isn't unrequited, but they swing almost in the opposite direction - they're each other's "purpose," "reason to live," each other's "universe". It's unavoidable codependence within their environment, but it gives this song a possessively ominous tint when you consider this cover would be them singing it to each other. 3:30 what i find fascinating about both versions is that in the original, ivan sings a lower harmony in the final chorus, making till's melody more heard (what i headcanon, too, is his tactic to make him win). while in this version, both mizi and sua sing the same melody in the same note, blending their voices very well with no harmony distinction. this parallel can also be related to the pairings' actual dynamics, where mizisua already feel the same way for eachother while ivantill never even get to that point (i am devastated)

Doomed Yuri in my recommended 😭 in all seriousness though, this cover so perfectly captures the clear difference between ivantill and mizisua. Ivantill cure was more violent, where their voices were louder and desperate to try and cherish their last times together. With Mizisua, however, they had each other for longer than the others, and it mirrors the more gentle nature of their love, which was reciprocated and pure. In other words, gay people have taken up my every waking moment and ruined my life 💀

Unlike in Mizi's cover of black sorrow she builds it up and then goes strong instead of her letting it all out in the very beginning, it's as if she's trying to surpress the fact that she misses sua so much, Another detail you can notice is at the first part of the duet, Only Mizi sings, unlike in the original Ivan & Till both sing and Sua only joins in when Mizi starts singing the second part, It can be because Sua was already dead unlike when in round 6 ivan & till were actually singing together. im SO impressed like im crying this cover fits those 2 completely, well now that my fav ship of all time is on spotlight MIZISUA ANGST TIME !!!! Mizi didn't know that the loser of the game was going to die since her family took care of her like a daughter, this is canon. Mizi was the only one of all who didn't know. Sua, for her part, could have said it, but she didn't for two reasons: that Mizi was happy and that Sua's death was more shocking for Mizi. Sua was destined to win, her voice is better than Mizi's and she was even a decent competition for Luka, but in the first round she held back. This is based on the dialogue that Sua has in her opinion of Mizi in the latest official artbook, where she asks for forgiveness because "her feelings are hurting her." I noticed at the end that when they have their duet, the first half mizi sings alone. Just like in ivantill Cure theyre switching between Mizi and Sua being the main vocals and the supporting vocals. When Mizi is being the main vocal she sings alone since Sua is dead so she isnt here to support her but then Sua is the main vocal and they sing together because Mizi will always support Sua, even if shes dead.

3:30 what i find fascinating about both versions is that in the original, ivan sings a lower harmony in the final chorus, making till's melody more heard (what i headcanon, too, is his tactic to make him win). while in this version, both mizi and sua sing the same melody in the same note, blending their voices very well with no harmony distinction. this parallel can also be related to the pairings' actual dynamics, where mizisua already feel the same way for eachother while ivantill never even get to that point (i am devastated)

Ivantill cure was more violent, where their voices were louder and desperate to try and cherish their last times together. The fact that Sua looks so.. dead, Mizi looks so shocked and the blood splatter on Sua's face, Sua's hands looks like it's about to let go. The cover also resembles the beta version of round 6, the art where Ivans death is much more gruesome, Ivan is holding tills face but we are unable to figure out Ivan's expression. Unlike in Mizi's cover of black sorrow she builds it up and then goes strong instead of her letting it all out in the very beginning, it's as if she's trying to surpress the fact that she misses sua so much, Another detail you can notice is at the first part of the duet, Only Mizi sings, unlike in the original Ivan & Till both sing and Sua only joins in when Mizi starts singing the second part, It can be because Sua was already dead unlike when in round 6 ivan & till were actually singing together. And also, Instead of Sua ending the song, Mizi ends the song instead saying "Consume me," because she's the one who considers sua as her "god and universe" GOD. it's like how in My Clematis, Sua starts the song and Mizi ends it, but now in Cure when Sua is already dead, Mizi starts it, and ends it too.. like how people say Till starts the song and Ivan ends that song, And sometimes you can think of it as Till started his life, And Ivan ends it for him. just listened to the song. their voices being so soft and gentle compared to ivantill makes me so GRJDKDJS. cause ivantill's relationship is more complicated, which makes sense for them (ivan specifically) to sing louder and more aggressive. ivan's voice being "please notice me and my feelings" while till's was more in pain cause he lost mizi and mentally unstable at the time. mizisua on the other hand has reciprocated each others feelings, the pain in their voices being "i wanna see you again".
another thing I noticed is that, in the OG, ivan and till sing together but ivan sings quieter than till. while in this one, mizisua sings together, both in the same volume and harmonizing with each other. that could also reference to how mizisua always loved each other while ivantill was one sided and they never really saw eye to eye.

Sua was destined to win, her voice is better than Mizi's and she was even a decent competition for Luka, but in the first round she held back. This is based on the dialogue that Sua has in her opinion of Mizi in the latest official artbook, where she asks for forgiveness because "her feelings are hurting her." She practically apologizes for her selfishness, because there was no way Sua was going to let Mizi die, but she also didn't want Mizi to stop loving her. So, she made her death so dramatic that Mizi would live with it all her life.
Now, In most of the official art where Sua interacts with people other than Mizi, she seems clearly uninterested or upset (and in the artbook there is also 0% intimacy with EVERYONE except Mizi) because Sua didn't care about anyone besides Mizi.
After all, Sua is not so different from Ivan. Even more obsessive than him.
